Women - What is your "dieting" daily calorie intake?

There are several women on this site who are losing weight by going low cal.  For these women what is your daily calorie intake during your weight loss process?

I'm eating 1250 + whatever extras I earn by exercising.  (So, say I do 15 minutes of walking + 30 minutes of aerobics, that's around 300 more calories.)  I'm 5'2" and trying to lose another 50 pounds at this point, though I have a 'mini-goal' of a weight of 175 lbs, which is about 10 pounds off.

 

Is that the kind of info you wanted?

I started at 185lbs on July 1st.  I am currently 164lbs -and have gotten here by eating 1200-1500 cal/day.  There have been probably 5-6 binge days in there where I didn't care and ate/drank whatever I wanted... so could be lower if I was stricter ;)

somewhere between 1400 and 1600 - a bit more if I exercise

i eat 1400-1700 (1750 maintenance) and exercise on top. My average deficit is about 500 a day and i lose on average a pound a week

i don't think of myself as "dieting" - just paying attention.  when i count--which is becoming more and more rare--i'm usually in the 1400-1600 range.  i've lost about 24 pounds, with 10-ish to go. 

i'm pretty active, though: at least an hour of some combination of walking, hiking, and running every day (i'm not particularly driven; i just have a dog).

My daily caloric intake is about 1300-1400.  I just need to tone, and  I exercise on a regular basis.  I did loose several pounds (25) a few years back on low cal - but mostly just being conscious of WHAT and when I ate.  Never do without your nutritional needs!     Good luck.

I average about 1200-1500 calories a day and lose about 1.5 pounds a week. I started in April 2008 and have lost 31 pounds looking to lose about 18 more. I have had about 25  days (sporadic) during that 5 months where I just haven't paid attention to what I ate but I don't think I ever went over 2,000 calories in a day, it is almost hard for me to do that. Laughing

Im at 141 and I started at about 150, on 1300-1500 a day. I've been on a plateau b.c I wasnt excersing all summer, mostly b.c I was out at the beach every weekend. I just watched what I was eating and didnt over do it so I just maintained. I would like to be under 140 by the end of this month so hopefully I can drop those 3-4 lbs.

My goal is to average 1500 a day. Sometime's I'm at 1200, sometimes I'm at 1700. I usually lose about a pound a week, and considering I'm only about 12 pounds from being within a healthy BMI, I'm fine with that. :)

I've lost 12 pounds since the beginning of July.  I'm not very good at this, but you know what they say - slow and steady.

I start lose at 1150-1200kcal per day, with three days a week exercising...  at that, I drop about .5-1 lb a week. If I want to do 2 lbs, I have to cut down to about 900-1,000 kcal. Sucks for me, but I've got a slow metabolism even with working out and eating well.  (Before I get any less than 1000kcal lectures being 5'10", it's ok- my doc and I have talked and this is the solution for me :-)

Started Aug 11th

Daily intake: 1400-1700

Lost 17lbs

little exercise

started at 244

with a couple of binge days, which included a whopper with extra cheese and a large fry and soda

I have a couple of odd days(like three) that I only ate around 1000 cals...but I also have a few that I ate 2000...

I try and eat every two hours never going more than three....I eat PB almost everyday...

Starting weight- 288#

Current weight- 238#

Daily Calories- 1600-1700

Lost 50# in 5 months

Exercise- started walking 2 1/2 miles, 3 days a week 2 months ago

 

I average 1200 if i'm sedantry, if i exercise i have more.

I have lost 30.8lbs since 19th June, going from 201.8lbs to 171lbs.

And in that time i have had about 2 weeks worth of "cheat days"(not all in one go though)

I'm averaging 1416 cals per day (this month) and am losing at a rate of 1 lb. per week.

Started at 250 lbs and now 147.  I am currently consuming 1300 calories a day.  Need to lose 15 more lbs,

What do you do for work outs?

I do 3 x weights training sessions per week and 4 x cardio per week.. and I feel like I'm not getting anywhere!

 i'm embarassed to say I dont do strength training.  I do some sort of cardio (biking outside on mountain bike) or use my treadmill 5 times a week for about 40 minutes.  According tomy heart rate monitor I burn 375-400 calories during this cardio.
