I have never had a period that irregular - I think for peace of mind I would call my gynecologist were this happening to me. Worth a check up.
ummmm... It's not totally un-normal to have break through bleeding- especially if you recently started a new w/o or diet plan... If the bleeding becomes bad or if it happens again next month then I would for sure get in to see doc- otherwise I would probably just chalk it up to a flooky month...
Good luck.
Good luck.
You might want to just consult a doctor about it. Most likely though, it could be due to a change in your diet, weight loss or gain, or even just stress.
At your age I was all over the map. Unless you have some reason that you know of to panic I would give it a month or so to regulate itself. If it doesn't then go see your doc.
Knowing me I would have been hoping it was menopause LOL

Hi, my periods have been 19 days apart from start to start. I am 41 years old. I went to my DO and she said that it was Adrenal Fatigue, my DHEA leavels are low and my progesterone levels are low as well. I have been going through this since I was 32. Have you doctor check your hormone levels along with you stress hormones. Good luck agger.
thanks for the replies, this was good for me to hear. I just was not sure what to do. I thought it was menopause starting then I read this book and it said that perimenopause would make the periods further and further apart. So, whatever.... I am going to wait till next month and see what happens and then I will call my doc and make an appoitment to see what is up.
agger: thanks, I will have my doc check my hormone levels I never thought of that.
I have lost 5 lbs since June. Yeah!!!

Your welcome = ) LOL I thought that it was menopause 9 years ago when the doctor laughed at me and it has taken me this long to get this far. Also, see if they will check your thyroid levels and your parathyroid levels. They should check these with a full hormone pannel but make sure. Both the thyroid and the parathyroid will make your body out of whack too. Good luck =)
So I went to the doctor and she did an exam, she found what she called a fibroid. Now I have to go in for a ultrasound and then a utrine scraping. I will not know anything for one month. I am a little worried. Does any one have any similuar stories?
Thanks, Joan
{{{hugs}}} the waiting is hard and so is going through the process. It really depends on what they find, and hopefully it will be good news. If it's bad news, then you have alternatives to consider, but until then, try to focus on calm, positive activities and a little pampering. try to avoid stuff that will aggravate you and make you more upset. extra rest, eat well, coffee with {{{friends&family}}} etc... hang in & let us know, ok?
