Women: Do you shave your legs every day in the winter?
I was just wondering. In the spring, summer, even into fall, I shave my legs either every day or every other day because I wear skirts a lot. In the winter though, I might let it go as long as a week, since I'm typically in long pants or jeans. In fact the only reason I even do it that often is it tends to drive me crazy if I let it go too long. I do have kind of fine, light colored hair though, so it's not as noticeable.
So, do you shave every day? Or do you let it slide?
I like the smooth feel of my legs, so yes I shave, but I do let it slide to every few days in the winter.
Yep, Hubby does not like messing with sasquash. ![]()
i shave mine every other day, winter or not.
OMG - I can't even imagine not shaving every day, winter, spring, summer & fall!!! I do it every morning in the shower! It is the routine! I hate the prickly feeling!

Every day they need it. I'm paranoid about getting into a car accident on my way to or home from work and having all of the people I work with see my stubbly ankles. I also dislike sitting with scrubs on, 'cause some ways your scrubs ride up and unless you're wearing trouser socks, your co-workers see your stubble, too.
Everything gets shaved as soon as I see it or feel it growing in, unless I remove the hair by other means.
WOW CD my friend said that exact same thing.. she is like i don't want to get into a car accident and have all the paramedics and hospital nurses and doctors seeing my hairy legs!! I thought she was ridiculous until now.
Every single day. I hate body hair in general. I only let my womanly area grow for about a week or two at most only because my skin is sensitive there and I get razor burn if I shave two times in a short time frame. Other than that, I shave my legs and armpits every day.
I wish I could afford permanent removal of hair. I hate hair. Unless its the hair on my head...thats REALLY long.
Double post, sorry
even though my BF and i are long distance, i shave just about every day. mine grows in quick so if i skip it drives me nuts. i just like having smoth legs and shaving is such a routine for me it doesn't take long or seem like much of a pain.
plus i wear shorts at the gym and skirts at work so i'd rather not be stubbly. i just hate the way it feels!
I also like the feeling of sheets on my legs after I shave (or my cat rubbing against my ankles...lol).
and I only used Nair once. It gave me a burn, and it didn't take off all the hair.
Not in the winter. It can be a waste of razors if I'm wearing pants that day. Obviously, if there's a skirt involved or a special occasion, the yes, I shave.
Well, my hubby got me laser hair removal a while back, so I hardly shave my legs or armpits at all anymore. Maybe once every few weeks.
However, before laser, I only shaved regularly in the summer, and in the winter hardly at all unless I knew I was going to be wearing a dress. As an aside: Tried Nair once, immediately regretted it - took 2 weeks for my skin to recover.
I shave if there's noticeable stubble because I wear shorts at the gym everyday. So, every 3-5 days.

That's so funny - this happened to me!!! Well, sort of...
I was tanning in a tanning bed and must have overheated b/c when I got out, I went into the room where you get your nails done, started talking to the nail lady (she was doing someones nails), and passed out!! I woke up to the paramedics pricking my finger and also noticed I had those white round sticky heart monitors all over my body...including my unshaven legs!! Ugh...it was horrible. And you'd think I'd learn my lesson from that and shave more often...but of course I didn't.
In the summer I shave every 2-3 days and in the winter...maybe once a week....definitely if I'm wearing a skirt though. I, thankfully, have fine light hair so you can't really see it unless the sun hits it. BUT, now that I have been reminded of my incident, I think I'm going to shave tonight : )
I really want laser hair removal for Christmas!!! That would be awesome!
I don't remember the last time I shaved my legs ... it's probably been at least 3-4 weeks. My husband doesn't care. He doesn't just say he doesn't care. He honestly doesn't care.
I should shave them now, before I have a huge pregnant belly and can no longer reach them. ![]()
Armpits, though? All the time.
I don't even wash properly in the winter, let alone shave my legs, lol. It's way too cold to take all your clothes off at once. I do still shave my armpits regularly, though - albeit in the sink!

Do you live in a tent?
Pits every two days, legs about every 10. I don't really care if my legs are hairy, but my husband says they scratch him in bed if they get too long!! ( On purpose......maybe?!)
hell no its a pain and i have barely any time in the morning... if i am wearing a skirt or dress then yes but usually every few days in the winter.... FH deals with it lol

do you still have to shave after laser hair removal? I really really REALLY want to do this... but not if I'm going to have to shave anyway!
I shave everyday or every other day (though when I do that it kind of bothers me especially if my guy tries to get intimate.) My hair has always grew back fast..so by the next day even if I have shaven it looks like a cactus again. Lmao!
