Why do women wear baseball hats during indoor cardio workouts?

Quote  |  Reply

I haven't been able to figure this one out. I was the lone woman in a class today without the prerequisite baseball hat. Am I doing it wrong?

shouldn't I just cut it off? I mean, what could be worse than a bulky shoulder?

Sitting here trying to get my boobie tassles to consecutively twirl in opposite directions...it's a great exercise to bulk up my boobies while also toning them which in turn speeds up my metabolism and helps me burn an extra 8000 calories a day! I recommend boobie tassle HIIT, really swing those ta-ta's as fast as you can for 60 secs then casually swing them from side to side for 30 secs then repeat.

This post wins you a month hiatus from spirochete evil responses. I don't give those out willy nilly

i wear one sometimes. but only because i don't want to be bothered at the gym.  i feel like i can hide under my hat and it will repel people better than without. lol.

I have to look good when I'm running at 1 mile per hour full speed. Ugh. This cardio thing is so hard.

I especially like, the full make-up and giant hoop earrings.  OH and flipflops....TOTALLY gym appropriate!

Personally, I rock a gold braided headband and lavender French-cut leotard with white tights, Olivia Newton John style.  'Cause that's how I roll.

And don't forget about wearing so much perfume it makes your neighbours gag! (I really had to stop MY work out the other day because I just could not breath anymore)

You guys crack me up so much btw, it is a good thing I have no customers in the shop right now, because I was laughing so loud they would have thought something was wrong with me!

This is simply the greatest CC post ever.

Instead of boobie tassles, I use nipple weights.  Like 50 reps on each side will totally tone you up without making your boobs weird and bulky.

Do you wear leg warmers with that?

But of course!  And a patent leather belt.

Without a hat on, I pour sweat in buckets from my head and was contantly wiping at my face with a towel.  So, I started wearing a baseball cap to help keep the sweat out of my eyes and keep all my hair up off my face and neck.

Update: successfuly went running without a baseball cap

Lets see the proof pictures.

i like baseball?  XD
though i dont wear it too the gym,  i have worn it while doing stuff in my basement.. but i had it on already...and wore it the rest of the day

Umm, I have bangs and without a hat my hair's all up in my face and it drips with sweat and gets in my eyes (making my eyes/contacts burn). Plus I'm used to wearing it outside because I have sensitive skin (trying to avoid the sun)

Everything isn't about vanity. Just because some women wear them to "look cute" at the gym doesn't mean all of us do. and what exactly is wrong with that anyway? If it's not hindering my work out and I feel a little more confident in a group fitness class looking slightly cuter I don't think that's so terrible.

ahaha of all my posts this is the one that hits a nerve? OH NO SOMEONE MIGHT BE MOCKING MY HAT.

I do it because I have long hair and unruly bangs,  so it keeps it all off my face.

and I do it to look cute  Tongue out

LMAO I need this

Well I get tired of people asking me if my hair is real and can they touch it, no you cannot touch it! So hat hides most of it. And not like I have anything unusual about my hair it is just red but there are some weirdos out there lol.
