I'm nearly 21 years old and over the last couple of years I've put on a bit of weight. I've always been large chested but obviously after putting on weight they've grown in size, and I've seen a lot of women have issues with their breasts sagging etc.... after losing weight.
Basically what I want to know is will me losing the extra weight I've gained effect my breasts? Or will it not have such a huge impact because I'm young?
you want the truth, or just something to make you feel better?
theres sacrifices, and it won't be as much for you because you're young, but I won't say you're in the clear.
No, I did want the truth and thanks for the reply.
I don`t know what 'a bit' is supposed to mean, but at the same age as you, after losing 20 pounds, my breasts remained very firm. Then again, I`ve never been very gifted in that department (formerly a B, currently an A).
I'm 25 and have yo yo'd quite a bit, up and down 20-30 lbs. I notice no difference in the "girls". C cup, regardless of weight.
Theres no real way to know.
Generally, the younger you are the more likely everything is to tighten back up after weight loss.
Personally, my boobs don't get much smaller ever, I wish they would.
Thanks for all the help girls.
I guess it's different for everybody, I'll just have to lose the weight and see what happens. Thanks again
Right on, it's absolutely an individual thing. This topic comes up every once in a while, and there is always a huge range of responses. Personally, I would love to lose some chest, but even after losing 25 lbs they haven't shrank a bit. Also, keep in mind that most larger breasts are going to wind up sagging eventually - the ones that don't are usually fake!
You may have sag, but its really not the end of the world: your skin could snap back in time, and if it doesn't, start saving for a lift (maybe even a reduction if you are still really big after hitting goal). If you do go that option you must prepare yourself for some scars, but these may be very light. In the meantime, to minimise sag, you will want to lose weight as slowly as possible to give your skin time to adjust to having less fat to hang on.
I hope this helps.
Id like to give you some advice but it seems my girls grew since ive lost weight. it maybe because of my BC pills though.
Depends on how big you are. I went from a DD to a D, and I'm only 25. There is some sagging, I've definitely noticed a difference...but alas, it's part of the process.
Wear insanely GOOD BRAS ALL THE TIME. I wear 2 when I work out.
I'm 28 so in boob years I'm quite a bit older.
I have lost 11kg in the last 3-4 months. I went from a bra size of a 40 DD to 36C (but that's big now too, so I think I have to go down to a 34B O_O).
I have always loved my girls, I look after them well...I don't remember the last time I slept without a bra on. But even with all I do for them, the mean girls have sagged a little.
That said, even with the little bit of sag, I am sooooo happy. I hated my DD, I hated feeling so huge, and so clumsy. I love that I can run now and that I don't have to hold on to the girls so they don't go in one direction as I go in another =D
One thing I would add. Better to lose the weight at this age when your skin is young, fresh and full of bounce than anytime later.
Thanks for all the reply's, you've been a huge help ladies ![]()
Don't skip wearing a sports bra when you exercise it is essential I've lost 18lbs and I'm still in the same bras, I guess it depends where you store fat. Even if they get a bit sad at first the skin may recover a bit after time as young skin is quite elastic.
I'm 28 and I've gone up and down in weight....graduated hs at 220, then down to 145...then had a KID, then went up in weight, and now back down.
My girls have always been on the larger side (I'm still a d at 145lbs) and they do sag a bit, which I don't like. BUT I've noticed that my stomach as well as boobies are firming up again day by day....I think the skin just needs time to adjust! At 21 it's a lot diff than at 31 or 41.......
*edit* yea and I always wear 2 great sports bras while working out....and I tend to always be wearing a bra. I got cutsie sports bras that I sleep in sometimes as a shirt or whatever.
I'm 23 and been losing some weight (almost 20lbs so far). I haven't noticed a change in cup size (still C) but the measurment around my chest has shrunk a bit. I've read that if you do pec strength excersises if perks them up. Also wear sports bras....the skin that hold the breast to the chest (the skin on top) is not extremely strong so you have to make sure it doesn't get strained to much when "the girls" bounce...THAT will cause some sagging.
Can I lose weight by walking on the treadmill for 20 minutes twice a day?
You will lose weight if your calorie intake is less than your calorie output. By walking on the treadmill for 40 minutes, you (personally... Read more
