I won at the buffet!

Well my mom and I went out on a date tonight! LOL She came to my apartment and we headed to a movie, and then we went to dinner, and she bought me a fake ficus tree for my apartment and it was really fun.

The best part though, was that when we went to dinner at a chinese buffet (where I usually gorge myself) I could only eat one plate of food, and one dessert! I was so surprised! That plate of food alone probably was 800 calories, but the thing here was that I was so full by the time I was done, I couldn't entertain the thoughts of anything else to eat! I was so happy!

So today was a good day afterall! :-)

It works!  That's a great feeling - good for you!  Angel, you're a beautiful person and you work so hard - this is a little reward, and a sign that you can keep going until you get to where you want to be.

I know you must have felt great! It's great to know that you can come here and share it because we understand! I bet it was nice to get up from the table and not feel completley stuffed/bloated. Great Job!!

It did actually fee great! I loved feeling like I was in control of the food instead of the other way around...

You just made me think of the song (I forget the title):

"The Buffet fought Utah and Utah won"...  Strange, the way the mind works.
