What should I do? I won't have any free time until next Sunday.

I'm in the tech crew for the school play. All next week and Thurs, Fri, and Sat of this week I have to be at school from like 7-2:15 for school and till 10 for rehearsals and building props & the set.

I won't be able to go to the gym or go for runs at all except maybe Saturday. This is really bad because I'm right in the middle of C25K [or training for running 3 miles]. To make matters worse, I have to eat dinner there and they usually have unhealthy things like Pizza Hut Pasta or Pizza or KFC. But its not like I'm having snacks at all.

At crew I have to use power tools a lot, stand or lean [we aren't allowed to sit, because its a firehazard.], and carry or move lots of heavy props around backstage... Do you think this is enough exercise for the week? Any ideas on how to stay healthy this week?

Crewing backstage, in my experience, is far more energetic than working out at a gym!!!  Relax... enjoy the fun of being involved rather than being resentful about having to eat a slice of pizza with schoolmates.  You don't get the opportunity to do this kind of thing every day and it's actually what makes life worthwhile.  Much more so than another day at the gym. Smile

thanks gi-jane for the response! and yeah looking at it that way i'm not as worried :]

I'm mostly just worried about C25K and that I wont be able to pick up where I left off.

I did C25K last year. I had to go away on a business trip overseas for two weeks. When I got back and started running again, I was able to run twice as long! I guess sometimes a break is good for progress. Don't sweat it. Worst case scenario is that you take an extra week to complete the program, but I sincerely think you'll pick up right where you left off. Enjoy your alternative workout!
