My WOOOOHOOOO for the day!! What is yours?
My WOOOOHOOOO for the day is: I put my favorite pair of jeans on today and they are BAGGY!! The good thing is that they are baggy - the bad thing is that they are my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE pair. Shucks - I may just have to go shopping for another pair - isn't that horrible............
I have also noticed that my wedding ring is getting loose on my finger. (Can't get a new ring - just got one in June for my 15yr anniversary).

I finally got to ride my bike to work!
And I went down a little on the scale today!
AND IT'S FRIDAY!!! WOOOHOOO!!! :)

AND IT'S FRIDAY!!! WOOOHOOO!!! :)
My woohoo moment of the day? I went to Ann Taylor Loft and tried on a dress for a bridal shower I'm throwing a week from today ... and the 10 was too big. I bought the 8! :D
My woohoo moment is from Friday night, but...
BF and I were at Blockbuster after dinner, and they have full-length mirrors on their support posts. I saw myself in one and thought, "Wow...it's getting visible." BF saw me checking myself out and smiled and nodded.

I just got back from my run and I did a 9 minute mile!! That's a whole minute shaved off my running time.
Woot!
Woot!
I have these jeans that used to be entirely TOO tight. Calves would suffer in them, and I couldn't bend down.
Now, 12 lbs. down, I think 'I wonder how those terrible jeans look on me now?'...and they were SO baggy ! :)
Oh, and I found out that I can run longer than before =]...and I actually have a good form !

My weight finally went down (i know by BF% has gone down since end of January by 2.5%), which is great because I have been stuck. The lowest I've been able to stay at consistantly is 108.6 and today I was 108.2. Doesnt seem like a lot but when you see 108.6 for a month+, that small change matters! =)
My wooooowhoooooooo for today is...
The new pants I bought last week are already kinda loose in the waist! It kinda sucks cause I just got them and only wore them three times. But it sucks in a good way! I don't know how I shrunk in a weeks time but I did.
And my BMI went down some more. I have gone from 33.1 to 26.6!

I changed my C+ analysis into an A just by eating an apple! And I got in 22 minutes of excercise before noon! WOOHOO!!
Every food I bought today is yummy but not one thing is really bad for me! I also did 20 mins of aerobic exercise and didn't collapse. I also did 50 jumping jacks and five minutes on the excersise bike.
My woo-hoo for the day is: I LOST MORE INCHES!!!!
This morning when I looked in the mirror, I thought I looked thinner, particularly in my waist, I can even see ribs again.... even though it's TTOM and i should be all bloated out.... so I got out my tape measurement, and sure enough:
- 1 inch off my waist - BOTH the smallest part (26 inches) and at the belly button (27 inches - but that's sucked in hard, as Dr Oz says you should measure, to test for visceral fat)... this has always been my most stubborn part of all...
- 1/2 inch off my hips (32-1/2) ... I suspect there's probably only another 1/2 inch that I could possibly lose there
- 2 inches off the area below my breasts - at the bra band (29 inches), and 2 inches off above my breasts (31 inches) - where the ugly fatty bits were congregating under my pits.... but nothing off my cup size, which is fine by me... I'm absoluately *thrilled* to finally see some progress on the upper body flab!!!!
I wish I had tracked my arms, but I was too skeptical about being able to measure the same spot each time, so I didn't. They do look better though. I could pass in sleeveless probably... even though I could use some toning.
Thighs and calves are about the same, which is good, because I don't want to lose anymore there, I wouldn't even mind gaining there, because that would mean I've gained valuable leg muscle!!

Way to go! I took measurements of myself months before I actually got serious about loosing the weight. I kept finding them and eventually through them away thinking I will never loose weight. Now I wish I still had those measurements to compare myself to. But even without them I KNOW I have lost inches. I just don't know how many or where. And I'm right there with you wanting to loose more upper body fat and stop loosing on my lower half. But muscle would be good.
Actually I have a second woo-hoo for the day!
I just got back from my daily run. It occurred to me that I've never reset the weight on my ipod thingie (it gives you a readout of how many calories you've burned, based on your weight, distance, pace). I got my ipod last August for my birthday. That's the last time I'd set the weight.... turns out, it was 122 back then!
So that means I've officially lost 10 lbs since August!!! Woo-HOO!!
(And I was probably lying about my weight in August, still in denial... LOL.. it was probably closer to 125 then)...
Still another 2 to go to reach my current goal of 110... and then maybe I'll shoot for another 5. I'm realizing that 105 has probably been my "ideal" ... because I suspect once I hit 110, some of my favorite clothes are still not going to quite fit right. But I'm getting there... and I bet by my bday in August I WILL be there!
Yeah, go ME!!

I'm on my way to 110 lbs from 126, and so far I've lost 3 pounds. 112 is my goal for the end of May, and I'd like to do a triathalon. Right now IO'm very motivated to keep going with my weight loss.
My WOOHOO was today when I went out to dinner at a Thai place, I ordered the pad tai with chicken, put two spoonfulls of a HEAPING platter on my plate with a spoonful of rice, ate very slowly, put my fork down between bites, thought about what I was eating, and didn't take the leftovers home (where I'm sure I would have devoured them at 3 a.m.!!). I also ordered fried bananas, ate two and shared the rest with my friends.
Talk about responsible eating out!! I'm SO SO proud of myself!!
And as an added bonus, I'm perfectly content right now. Not hungry, not stuffed, just content. :)

My WOOHOO is staying on my eating plan another day and not giving up *and* being able to walk up the steps at my daughter's high school WITHOUT needing to use the railing for support. I've never been able to do that before - and I walked right up without having to stop for a breath, and didn't have to stop at the top to catch my breath. For me, it was a sign of progress. I know I have a LOT more to go (about 245 lbs to lose) but I'm on my way.
I finally lost the pound that I've been stuck on, go me!
My wooohooo is 5 days of exercise 4 days at the gym and a wonderful walk in the woods with the dogs. Dog is also wooohooing to go for her walk
I can stand up with my feet together, and my thighs are NOT together! theres space between. Yayy :P
My neighbor said "oh my gosh, you have lost so much weight, You always wear T shirts so I never noticed" Yesterday when I was on my way to a wedding. It's nice when people notice
