DOES IT WORK??[acne is ruining my life]
So i have acne..:( and ugh it's ruining my face! its like all over my chin and the side of my face. I'm thinking about trying this new product called 'Acne Complex'. It said it'll work within 4 weeks. Anyone heard of it? Should i try it?? do you think it's a good idea? I'M DESPERATE! help?
Well I have really bad acne that's caused by genes, stress, and food. And I've tried EVERYTHING. Litereally, from ProActive to the "gone in 1 day" stuff. The best thing that has ever worked for me is Neutrogena Skin ID...that was it's customized to work with you and it usually comes with gifts like a tote bag or extra sunscreen and other things like that. And if you want something inexpensive that seems to work great, at least for me, is Clearisil Ultra '3 Days Gaurunteed' vanishing cream. It really does get rid of a lot of my acne problems in 3 days if I need to go to a photo shoot or something.
Hope this helps!
I know this will sound weird but you have to try it.. I guarantee that it works and you have to trust me and do exactly what i say! its unorthadox in so many ways BUT i promise it works .... go to autozone, or checkers, any auto parts store and get Fast Orange make sure its the one with the little exfoliating beads and JUST USE THAT! no moisturizer no toner nothing just wet your face get a little nickel sized portion and do it morning and night try it for a couple weeks if it doesnt work come back and yell at me but its worked for myself and my brother (who had EXTREME acne ) Let Me know if it works!!! Good Luck!!!![]()
Hey, early september I started getting really bad breakouts on my chin. I mean, stuff that even make-up had trouble covering. I never got pimples there before so I was pretty freaked out. I decided to try the Clinique Acne Solutions. You can get a start-up kit for $41 that contains the three products in sample sizes to see if they work for you. Anyway, I started applying them morning and night. At first I started getting these really horrible dry areas on my skins, where the top layer of the skin peels a little and turns white. This lasted for about a week, so I recommend using this system a couple of weeks before any events. After a week, I noticed a dramatic difference on my chin. The pimples were gone, there were some faint scarring but I'm hoping it goes away with time.
Anyway, if you don't want to buy Clinique because it's expensive or whatever, make sure that you buy a cleanser that contains salicylic acid (it helps remove the dead skin cells form the surface of your skin) and a cream that contains benzoyl peroxide (that's the chemical that kills the bacteria and dries out the pimple). Use them together. Hope this helps.
I don't have acne, but my little brother does. So I tend to experiment on him lol. I also do tend to get clogged pores in my cleavage line, blackheads on my nose, and a pimple every so often on my face. I found that if you use a face wash with Benzoyl Peroxide of at least 5% and then use a spot treatment with the maximum Benzoyl Peroxide of 10% and apply it at least twice a day, you should see some results. Be careful though because it does dry your skin out.
There is also salicylic acid. Now from personal experience and experimentation on my brother I find that salicylic acid does not do quite as good a job.
I hoped I helped somewhat.
I used to have acne, and I guess this is rather unorthodox, but I use clearasil directly on my face. Instead of adding the water and lathering it, it gets rid of any pimples quicker..But I also use moisturizer right away after it, so it doesn't dry out my face. :) good luck
I get pimpels on my back, and my celavagea line as well. Also sometimes on my legs? and inbeteween my noes and eyebrows, chin, forhead. They really arent that big of a concern. But it would be great if I had a soultion! anytakers?
P.s. I do have oily skin, but- I drink about 15 cups of water a day!
