I definitely wasn't born loving to work out. I was a couch potato until last year. I quit smoking and joined the gym. I've been working out 5 days a week since. Now, if I have to skip a day for any reason, I feel somewhat bad and try to make it up. My only suggestion is to keep at it and continue to challenge yourself with your workouts. I started running, and I keep trying to better my times or increase my distance. If you lift weights, try to increase your reps or weight. Good Luck.
The key to wanting to work out is finding something you enjoy doing.
I love to work out with weights but I could go without doing cardio not my favorite. Although I do it anyways, I make sure to do it before weights so that I won't not do it.
If you work out enough, it'll become second nature to you.
I know a lot of people that love the dance video workouts or things like TaeBo.
Don't push yourself to do something you do not enjoy but instead find something that you look forward to doing on a regular basis.
What kinds of workouts are you doing now?

well, I havent been to the gym in a month... Yes, I know, horrible. I just kinda fell out of my routine when I moved into my house a month ago. Packing and moving and getting settled seemed to be a little more "important" I know look back and know that it was an excuse NOT to go. But, oh well, I cant turn back the time.
When I DID go... i would do 40 minutes of walking on the treadmill, alternating between an incline of 10, and an incline of 5. Then, I would lift some light weights for my arms. Thats it. I didnt love it, but I didnt hate it. I used to go 4-5 times per week, and it was good for me... and when I wouldnt go, I would miss it, and sometimes feel bad. But, after a few days of not going... it turned to weeks, then now has turned into a month. I just need some type of motivation to get back into it. I just need to force myself to go I guess.

For me, my motivation is to get back into shape so that I can wear a swim suit and feel great when we go to Florida in a couple of months.
Set yourself mini goals. For example, work out X amount of days with a combo of cardio and weights for a month. If you meet that goal reward yourself with a new outfit or hair cut.
You could also take yoga or pilates classes or some form of dance class.

yeah, just talking about it makes me realize what I need to do.. its getting up and doing it thats the problem. I dont know why.. I always feel so damn great after I work out... so energized and like I actually accomplished something. Its a feeling that nothing else gives me...
I lost alot of weight and also quit smoking. I go to the gym 6 days a week. I hate taking that one day off. I think my modavation is that I went from a size 42 pants to a size 33 and am able to shop in stores like american eagle and aeropostal now. Also I love to watch myself work out because it is not a vanity thing I just like to see the pump in my arms and legs It makes me want to work out harder!

Isn't it funny that we have such a hard time doing something that makes us feel good? I think it must be inertia that keeps us away from the gym. ;-)

yeah, and I answered my original question I guess... :) Looks like I'm back to the gym tomorrow night after work!
I love feeling strong; after I have a great workout, i feel like i can do anything! When I lift, I think about how far I have come since the beginning when I struggled lifting very little weight. I also use it as a way to destress from a long day- just zone out (which is why i prefer working out alone rather than taking classes).
When I work out regularly, I feel better, sleep better, and am happier- which is why I keep doing it!

I am totally new to working out. For some reason for me, buying new running shoes and workout clothes motivates me to go to the gym. I like working out when I am wearing decent workout gear. I don't even buy anything really cute, just the basics but it still makes me feel better.
