Hi theheiress -- welcome to the CC Forums!
That looks like a very vigorous workout plan -- almost getting tired just looking at it :-O
Glad to see though that you do have a day of rest

Great plan -- looks solid.
If I may, I'd suggest adding some upper body workouts into your workout routines. I believe it would help you reach your goal and keep your body equalized.
Resting on Wednesday would be too bad either. 6 days a week is even more than most pros do. I'm no pro, I just read too much!
Good luck and I hope the New Year is good to you!

Looks like a great workout to me, although, I have to agree that two days off is in order for the body to #1 not get bored with the routines, #2 Avoid burnout, #3 Let the body rest (which is essential for the body to perform properly throughout the week). I'm not a pro, although I was a bodybuilder for several years and am now in a pretty rigorous fitness routine myself. I'm going to keep your workout in mind and change it around a little to see how it works...also, I agree with the fact that more upper body work is needed for equalization of the body muscle structure. Keep up the good work and good luck in 2006! Looks like you have a great start!
wow...I am tired and have not even started my exercise thingy yet...exercise is going to be my hardest thing to do. I did do 10 crunches on Thursday. I think my crunch day is going to be Tuesday and Thursday. I think I will walk for my excersise. That seems to be easy for me to do. I have a friend that is willing to walk with me. She is trying to lose weight too. She is not as motivated about it as I am though and I am scared she will "roll her eyes" somedays. giggles
lurleen, just don't let your friend keep you from walking. Even if you have to go by yourself. For me that is the hardest thing, because I would much rather walk with someone I can talk to. I had a walking routine I followed with one of my friends and we were doing great for quite some time and we both were looking great, getting firm and fit, but then she started finding reasons not to walk so there went our routine. I finally just bought myself an MP3 player and began walking on my own......I go to the gym on Tues and Thurs for a 90 min circuit training step class, but on the other days I have to get myself back into a better routine. I'm doing ok as I work out at home alot too doing mostly Tae Bo, but I need to find something that I don't feel like I have to kill myself to do. The older I'm getting the less time I want to have to spend working out....I'm so bad....haha Anyway, good luck with your weight loss efforts and just keep good attitude and you'll be able to at least feel good about what you've accomplished, no matter how small or large. Too bad you don't live near me, I'd go walking with ya.
OH Dragonfly! That is so nice of you. I wish you did because I really need a good buddy to walk with. You are really loads better than me in the excersise department. I have the motivation right now but you are right I should not let my walking friend get me down. THe music is a great idea too. THank you so much for the encouragement because that is what I need. huggers to you
That sounds like a really ambitious schedule you have there heiress. I was just wondering what kind of basic workout you do? Is it an aerobic type or pilates? or something else.
I tried to get back into doing my pilates tape that I haven't done for months. I couldn't even do half of it. and the last excercise (the plank) was impossible. Very discouraging for me because I was doing this same routine last spring with no problems.
I just keep telling myself that it will get easier and to keep at it.

As Im a non driver I was relying on rides to the park from weight loss buddies to walk and sure enough one by one they all dropped out till my hubby was having to take me and wait in the van watching TV with my 3 year old son. But that soon got old. But this time i wasnt gonna give up so I ride the bus to the mall and walk. the ride is 45 ins each way and I get to walk for an hour but at least im not in the fridge! If im out of the house for 2 /12 hour a day probably saves ne tons of calories. Ive met alot of people and have made 3 good freinds in 4 months from being alone at the mall every day to:)
this looks great! i think im going to try it along with you. i wish us both luck!
