Work...what's work? What do we all do?

So many of us are at work (aka the corporate world) right now and yet here we are! :)  I'm curious....what do we all do for a living and why do we love CC so much?

I'll start....

I work as a Black Belt in the Lean Sigma dept....that means I'm a problem solver and everyone HATES to see me coming to visit them....b/c I'll change something :p  Work is either really busy or really slow....and no matter which one it is I love coming to CC to chat and debate with all of you!  It makes my days go so much faster and far more entertaining ;)

I'm a work-study for the President's Office at my college.  It means I do whatever anyone in the building tells me to (well, not quite that many, but quite a few), which is typically office work.  However, since my bosses rarely have enough work for me, I usually have some free time to be on here!

I do the payroll for my husbands buisness, the rest of the time i answer phone calls and set up appts. I come to cc otherwise i would be bored out of my mind even if im debating with someone and getting pissed off its still better than other things I can do on the comp, at least im chatting with real ppl and i think a few are aliens from other planets but not to many of them i have encountered.

I'm an alien from the planet of Zolar...but don't tell anyone.

I work in the accounting office of the Employee Services Association at a secure national laboratory.  It's pretty sweet.

I work as an administrative assistant for a marketing firm. I love C-C.

I work for my mother (haha..shoot me now) she owns a dog grooming place, and I run the front of the store. Make appts, take phone calls, bring dogs in and out...etc. But I'm also going to school part time as well so I'm a secertary/student I suppose! I love coming on here cause I have a lot of downtime and its great talking to all of you!

I am an independant contract recruiter. That means companies hire me to find them people when they have a lot of hiring needs. I'm pretty much my own little 1 woman company and it rules.

Part of being a good recruiter is being an excellent internet detective so many I know more about you guys than you think!

Damn...and I was worried about it being discovered that I was an alien from the planet of Zoloft ;p

Maybe more than just "some"

I work as an administrative assistant for a natural gas gathering and transmission company. I love CC because it is so easy to use, free and everyone is helpful. I love reading the posts. They are so interesting and sometimes funny

I am an Inside Sales Rep for a packaging company. 

New job = less time to make people mad on C-C.  Ugh....I guess I'm actually going to have to work during my 40 hours now.

Why I love C-C.....good non-diet related discussions and a busy, constantly changing forum. 

I am a System Admin. (DB2 Mainframe) Application Support, (DB2 Connect Admin) for a major insurance company...boring I know, but it pays the bills. Being on CC keeps it interesting.

Steve...does that mean you're one of those wonderful IT people? Sigh...we need you here :) 

 I'm current TYPING, by hand, 10 pages of excel spreadsheet b/c the drive I saved it on crashed!! and I'm just lucky that it was printed!!!......GRRR......whew, okay got that off my chest.
