whenevr i work out for an hour (cardio) i get lightheaded
what should i eat before that type of workout in order to not get overly tired?

i heard no sugar before working out? and fruit is high in suagr
I was having the same problem. After I did cardio for about 1 hr and 20 min.  Real lightheaded..almost dizzy.  It was scaring me, because I haven't been like that before.  I would stay dizzy/woozy all night.  Then I started drinking a protein shake befofre my workouts. Good nutrients and energy to supply you through your work out.  Now im fine.  Hope this helps. 
Same, I use to get hit with that all the time. Now I do whey protein and water during and after, works wonders.

Headaches during or after a workout are due to low blood sugar. Personally I recommend a sports drink to prevent your glycogen and blood sugar levels from dropping. Eating a low-GI carb such as old-fashioned oatmeal before a workout can also prevent such headaches. Also, make sure you eat a good recovery meal post workout.
I have a feeling you're not eating enough, period.
yeah you need to make sure you are eating enough in general. I once punished myself for a cheat by not eating all day and then working out for an hour. I almost fainted...BADDD idea.
