It's working
Not sure why I'm posting this message but thought I'd announce my presence and see what happens. I'm a slightly over-weight male seeking to trim my gowpen stomach for the beach this summer. Atkins did it for me once but it never lasts, so here I am. Any tips welcome.
Update
Three days on and I'm down 2.5 lbs. I haven't 'suffered' a great deal, which seems a terrible thing to say given the state of the world for many people - but a very encouraging start. The site took a while to figure out but it's a really helpful tool.
2.5 lbs lost is great! I just joined yesterday and I'm down a lb...never thought I'd be so excited about one pound ![]()
In fact, I'm down 3.25lbs now and feeling very chipper about the whole thing. The site's really helpful but I think too that my stomach's contracted or I've come to terms with mild hunger pangs, which makes everything easier.
Most of all though, the sight of my tum in shop windows is the driver. In my head I'm still in my twenties with a bronzed six-pack (as if) and it's a diappointing come down to see the other bloke taking over. Well now he's being squeezed out. Good luck with yours - keep me posted!
