I know, I know another endless topic that we talk about al the time. Well I can't find any. :)

So I'm 3lbs away from goal weight and I have been running. I am starting to incorporate workout vidoes in my routine because they have ones that tone you really well. I have some Jillian Michael dvd workout and I'm now ordering a ab workout recommened by lyn. :)

can you guys suggest any really good workout videos that tones your body and whatnot. I know there are tons out there but if you can recommend any good ones it would be nice. As I really can't afford a gym right now I have to substitue videos.

John Basedow's Fitness made Simple "Basedow's Basics".

You only need one set of weights.......I alternate between 7 and 10 lbs. You start out with stretching, then move to upper body with pushups variations and weights. Lower body included lunges, squats and over & under duos w/ and without weights. Finally, he has a six minute ab workout. It's simple.....I mean SIMPLE to follow, takes about 40 minutes and you really do see results within the first two weeks. I highly recommend this video!

My uncle swears by John Basedow's videos. I personally find him creepy,
but I'm willing to overlook it if I'll get results.

Christen.......he is a bit strange, no doubt. I sometimes still laugh at his hair and shaven legs....LOL! But......I used to be in the Army and never got the results I've gotten from him. The excercises are just as the title suggests, simple! I have his six pack abs video as well. It's a hoot because he keeps getting up after each excercise to look at HIS six pack in the mirror. Not complaining though, it gives you a 30 second breather.

i love lifting with her, but dont have a big step, so havent tried her step workouts, i do love her kickboxing dvd...

they play her dvds (whittled down to fit in an hour) on FitTV if you have that channel, and her dvds are pricey, but the results are amazing! so if you are ready to take it to the next level, definitely check out cathe at www.cathe.com
Rahana- one word for you, ok- 2. THE FIRM. If you dont get toned doing any one of their "total body" videos, nothing will help you. Also- "I want that body" by tammilee webb of "buns of steele" fame. This dvd is AWESOME! 90 minutes worth of toning for arms, abs and buns in easy 15 minute segments that you can pick and choose from.
yall have got to check out chicometrics.....it is small one inch movements using your own body for resistance ...highly repetitive but my sisters friend is on the tape and she went from a xize 18 to size 8 in 6 months......no dieting just the tape 2 tiimes a week.
