My worst job was working at Sears... it was so boring... I couldnt ever do retail again.

most of the Old people i had to deal with thought young people owe them something...  Im so glad my grandparents arent like that..
Victoria's Secret. Women with boobs down to their knees would come in with no bra on and ask for a complimentary sizing. Um GROSS! Plus, during the semi annual sale and having to sort through millions of thongs and whatnot was not fun. Or having weird old men come up to you at 18 and ask you "My gf is about the same size as you, could you try this on for me?"
hmm... worst job? It would have to be working at Coop which is a supermarket chain in Switzerland I hated restocking shelves and pulling forward the products at night to make it look nice....NEVER AGAIN!!!

eeew IP.. thats sick
Yeah, it was horrid.
Well, I worked at this window place for about 4 hours. Believe me we needed the money but it was hot and we had to hammer pieces in all day long. No talking, short breaks it was horrible. I even puked once. As I was leaving I looked at the employees and said"no one should do this work for such little pay" and I never went back. It was the most horrible job in the world. I felt bad some people had to work there.

I worked ONE DAY for The Maids (that cleaning service) last year, I was looking for something just for the winter (I used to have a job for the Dept. of Conservation where we got winters off) and I'm one of those freaks that likes cleaning... so I thought it would be nice working an hour somewhere and then driving to the next place and working another hour, maybe it would make the day go by fast or whatever. NOPE! We worked 11 hours and it was HELLLLLLLLL. People that know they're having a cleaning service coming in once a week are slobs! It was a disgusting job.

Plus they made me wear a sweatshirt all day to cover my tattoos. I dunno if you've ever cleaned all day in a sweatshirt in the middle of winter when the heat is cranked, but I do NOT recommend it.

Working in a movie theater snack bar, wearing a plastic apron and sunvisor.  Having hot popcorn grease kernels fly out of the machine and land thru my button down white shirt and landing right into my bra thus burning my boob to death.  Working on christmas eve till 1:30am  All the while line upon line of people complaining about how high the prices were, and hurry up, Im gonna be late for my movie!  Well idiot show up on time!!!!!    NEHEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll second Victoria's Secret.  I agree with everything italianprincess said and will add a few things myself.  They treat their employees horribly for starters.  Sometimes I would work for 6 or 7 hours before I even got a break.  I almost never got my 15 minute break either.  In addition to the nasty saggy boobies, I have also seen girls with hairy nipples, and women and men who want to parade around the store naked.  Men coming in and trying on panties and not keeping their underwear on underneath.  Women trying to return obviously used panties with white crusties in them.  Moms that would leave their baby's poopy diaper in fitting rooms for us to clean up.  I think that pretty much sums up my time working there.  I wish they would use half the money they pay those supermodels to pay their employees a little better for having to endure this crap.

my first "real job" [besides babysitting, which i loved, and volunteer work] was when i was 17, working at BOSTON MARKET and i was vegan at the time!  i was a cashier, but one night the manager asked me to put chickens on the rotisserie spit and i refused.  then, once they were cooked, he wanted me to take them off and tear them apart with my hands into quarters.  i tried to refuse that one, too, but he gave me hell since i had already refused to put them on the spit, so i did a couple and was bawling and he let me stop.

i worked closing shift most of the time which meant i got to clean everything before i left, and everything was covered in sticky chicken grease and STUNK! there were also roaches everywhere.  i think i lasted maybe 2 months until i turned 18 and started working for whole foods!

oh my god to victoria's secret! who knew? and hey, you're not talking about the time when i came in with my hairy nips, are you??? (and really, do people try returning crusty undies?!)

kindoflikesarah, that's horrible. i work for myself as a housekeeper, so i can do whatever the hell i want. for me, cleaning over 6 hours starts turning into hell, and i could never do it in anything but a tanktop... cleaning services suck ass.

i worked as a chambermaid at a few different hotels over the course of many years. there were times when those were the worst jobs ever.

homeless shelter, that sucked. draining, exhaustive, and what a bitchy boss. the rewarding aspect of it didn't even come close to the suckiness.

dog washer at grooming salon. sick nasty job. my love for dogs went right out the window with that one.

seamstress for really nasty woman making drapes. she made me cry alot. that one only lasted a few months.

when i was quite young, busser at a restaurant. i'm a terrible restaurant worker, and always managed to slip and get food on the meanest persons' most expensive clothing.

i think the worst job i ever had was on a cruise serving food (as i've mentioned, my favorite) and cleaning the rooms... i forget what you call those people. anyway, i got cabin fever as soon as we started moving, cried for a week straight on the boat, made many enemies, and demanded that i get off the boat somewhere in upstate NY to try hitchhiking back (it was that bad). luckily, i met a good person who brought me back the whole way.

so... i guess just about every job i've had has been the worst!

...hopefully retirement will prove better for me.
I worked at the concession stand for baseball games at our local park two summers in a row. I don't know if anyone has experienced summer in South Louisiana, but it was HORRIBLE! I got eaten by mosquitoes (it was an open stand) and the heat was unbearable! We took turns getting in the freezer. :) I vowed from then on never to work outside again!!! (Unless I move up north!)
At a company that sold medical text books.  The owners were two brothers.  One was the general manager, and he spent his time sitting in front of the security monitor trying to catch employees stealing. That is when he wasn't walking around yelling at people.  The other was the controller.  He was grouch in the morning and very cheerful after lunch.  It took me a while to catch on that he drank his lunch to cure his hangover from the day before.  I quit when the manager threw a book at me because my phone was busy when he tried to call me.
i've never had a job..yay me
celebrity poison tester :P KIIIDDING!

WOULD seriously suck though...
Dagicat, you are hilarious,  you made me laugh out loud.

Victoria secrets sounds awful, hahaha.

For me, the worst job was in fast food. Burger king. I don't think I have to explain it much, it was just awful though. Mix of the hardest I've ever worked and least I ever got paid lol
I spent a summer painting in a hog slaughter house.  Let's just say that I have not complained about any of my jobs since...
Hmm, let's see I have so many to choose from, telemarketing is up there on the list but the worst would have to be my first job. Working at the airport food court serving greasy pizza and gooey ice cream!! I gained 40 lbs that year and that is when my weight struggle began!! Plus, I was always coming home greasy and sweaty and had to deal with moronic tourists all day!
My worst job ever was selling cars. Chryslers and Jeeps to be specific. I think I was there a month, made crap for money, and just hated it. I am not cut out to be nice to customers. Thank god I went to school and got a job I actually like!!!
