Are you trying to gain weight?!
not really gain but maintain. it was just a really bad day. i ate so much crap foods.
Blee. . .  My day:

Breakfast: Leftover Chinese food from last night (stir-fried veggies with tofu and steamed rice)

PMS Chocolate craving: 12 oz. 1% milk with Nesquik

Lunch: A bit of French bread and some chicken noodle soup

Dinner: Tendergrill sandwich from BK with no mayo and a Hershey pie

As you can see, I was trying to be good, really I was!  So how did my day end up so totally off?  Bleh, this time of month, it doesn't pay to be a woman :-P .
ever do the wander in and out of the cupboards trying to find what you want to eat routine? you take a bite of this and that, but none of it is what you really want?

then you just eat the damned chocolate, and all is well. lol

don't sweat it-every day can't be a 'perfect' day. the main thing is: did you enjoy the burger and fries? I sure hope so. :)

fact is, none of those foods are going to go away, so we may as well accept that we're going to eat them now and then. I found that accepting that, and not making anything (except maybe spoonfuls of sugar or sticks of lard or something like that) off-limits, really made the cravings die down when my body realised that it could still have the 'bad' foods sometimes too.

^_^
Chocorific,
I totally agree.  Guilt does nothing but undermine our progress/best intentions.  Learning moderation is always key.  I myself only have a few things that I have put on my "never again" list and that is "fully leaded" Alfredo Sauce and Movie Theater Popcorn just because those are the two most intensely fattening, artery clogging foods I used to enjoy.

I reach for alternatives now to those because of heart health issues, but I do still occassionaly have an order of french fries or piece of good dark chocolate and I find that if rather than guilt, I work to slow down and take pleasure in every single bite I not only enjoy it more, but it's easy to get back to the good foods and not feel like they are a burden I have to meet.  :)
kmsfastrack I'm assuming you are a dancer if you are wanting to maintain such a low weight. For most people I'd think that'd be way too low unless you are an athelete or a dancer.

I doubt you'll gain much from what you ate, except maybe water weight from all the salt and maybe a tummy ache.
ya i am a dancer.
No. This was a bad day.

english muffin and jam
coffee

1/2 johnny rockets bar-b-q burger
1/2 chicken club sandwich
fries
onion rings
chocolate shake

cotton candy
M&Ms

oatmeal

6 cocktails

peanut butter crackers
fudgesicle
oh, thank you!  everytime i read about someone's "bad day", it's like still 2000 cal or something (like, "oh NO, i ate a piece of cake after my salad!"). MY bad days involve 3000-4000 cals.  like say...Friday (the four dozen donuts day - although i didn't touch them all day long.  not until the night manager locked herself out of the office and i had to go up to work to unlock it and whatdayaknow, donuts! so i ate a half - but i was pretty toasted)Friday started off REALLY well, but what are you going to do when there's a BBQ/kegger to go to?!

Breakfast: morningstar farms breakfast sandwich, 1 turtle special brownie (someone made it specifically for me, couldn't say no)

Lunch: 1/2 cup chicken breast, 1/4 cup pinto beans, 3 starlight mints

Snack: carrots, cream cheese dip, couple beers

Dinner: homemade Mexican Chicken Lasagna, steamed broc/carrots

then, the party...the kegs...for sh!ts and giggles, i entered it all to the best of knowledge the next day.

6+ beers, 6+ cream cheese stuffed bacon wrapped jalapenos, 4+ big ole oatmeal cookies, some cake, some mashed potatoes, some brisket and chicken.  oh yeah, and don't forget that half a Krispy Kreme (didn't enter it). even leaving stuff out, i was over 3900 cal.  THAT'S a bad day!
yeah, and Sunday was worse....

Oversized Cinnamon Roll
Coffee- cream and sug
2 Pepperidge Farm Sugar Cookies
2 Fried eggs
Buttered Toast (2 pieces)

Kraft dinner (1/2 box)
Coke (1 can- the real deal)

Friendley's Reese's Peanut Butter Cup sundae
1 bag of Hershey's mini kisses

Shrimp scampi- made w/ butter
easily 1/2 loaf of Italian bread

2 more Pepperidge Farms sugar cookies
bowl of coffee ice cream
bag of Skittles

Calories??- I'd say 3000 by the end of breakfast....

Thank you all!  At least i wasn't the only one to have a bad weekend.

LOL
i know, we need to keep this thread up.  =) as much as i'm rooting for everyone to succeed, it makes me feel better to read other ppl's BIG f-ups.  seems like one day of lots of crap throws the whole thing off for a week. blech.
I've discovered my pattern. Every other weekend I go crazy with food and adult bevs. So far this hasn't killed my weight loss, and good thing b/c Easter plays right into my pattern...
Oh I'm so relieved at hearing all this...now I don't feel quite as bad either
ok - here it goes

b - 2 eggs overeasy - 4 slice of white tooast - home fries with sausage gravy on top

lunch - 10 hot wings , blue cheese dressing and celery

dinner - shared appetizers with 5 people - crab dip, southwest egg rolls - and my entree - coconut crusted tilapia with pineapple salsa ans veggies (got better) 4 glasses of pinot grigio and

TA DAAAAA = shared a brownie sundae with the hubby.

I did clear out my gardens for 6 hours on saturday between all this eating but I in NO WAY added up the calories.

Damn you PMS
OH mvdb - now you've done it...I saw that Friendly's sundae on you list and I WANT ONE!
had chinese for lunch today. guess it's tuna and salad for me for dinner tonight. lol XD

it was good though.^_^
i am sure i will have those days and when i do i will be right here posting the same thing. i am a convert from carbless to calorie counter. hang in there
jmoselen- not gonna lie, the sundae was GOOD!! Beats sugar free jello and fat free cool whip EVERY day of the week, but the guilt was not so great. Yesterday I ate like no fat or sodium to make myself feel better and definitely put in 2 hours on the treadmill this morning-early.
