It's 6:30am and I have eaten 850 calories. (2 chick-fil-a sammiches my husband brought me home even though he knows I'm dieting.)
I suck, lol.
Chalk it up to stress. Eat well for the rest of the day (veggies and legumes are the best bet since they'll fill you up and have relatively few calories) and see if you can get a walk or a run in.
Calorie Counting is a love-hate relationship -- there was a time where you could have eaten the same two sandwiches and been ok with it. Now we are fully aware of the 850 calories and we hate it.

p.s. I don't trust myself either when I have a deadline due and there is non-diet food around -- so I freeze the stuff. I figure if I'm desperate enough to defreeze something, it must be an emergency. ;)

Well, I figure if I can't get away for a little while to do SOMETHING (between school, hubby, kids, and work it's hectic) then I will take the babies to the park and run around with them, and/or do some serious housework.
I just couldn't believe it, I ate them with no problem until I was finished and thought, "why the f... did I do that?" but I did it again! AHH!

I don't know what it is, but when I am either (a) really unwell or (b) in the midst of exams all I really, REALLY want is a nice, greasy takeaway. x: But I don't eat them all the time so normally, I can have that takeaway and satisfy my craving and be happy.
Don't kick yourself either way. Eat well for the remainder of the day, as scaroppo has suggested, and DON'T beat yourself up. You don't need extra guilt and stress on top of exam pressure.
You could consider eating maintainance during your study time. You're 19, so make sure you're using the right tools to work all that out - CC's tools are inaccurate for an under 21 but this calculator isn't: http://www.bcm.edu/cnrc/bodycomp/bmiz2.html
