Wow it's hot!!

I took a work downstairs to see what the guys were doing (I work for a steel contruction company). Omg it was like 120 degrees downstairs..I'm sorry for those people who are out in the heat like this all day...

NY is supposed to get a heat wave the next 4 days...in the 90's... :(

It might be, HK.  I heard on channel 4 that it's supposed to be hotter than blue blazes here tomorrow!

Yeah, warm here too. Today is supposed to be mid 90's, tomorrow and sunday are supposed to be upper 90's or possibley 100, then monday and tuesday are supposed to "cool down" a little down to lower 90's. I hide in air conditioned places like my room! I will also go see the new pirates of the caribean movie (air conditioned) and maybe watch a movie in my family room wich is pretty cool (basement). I don't handle heat very well, so I need to run this weekend, but only early (10am or earlier!)

The next few days we will hit the 90's with possible triple digits in areas.  They are warning to conserve energy so we can avoid the dreaded rolling blackouts.  Sounds like a hot, hot weekend around here too.   I am breaking my rule today and have the air on at work.  I usually try and not use it to keep costs down but not today.   

No one is allowed to complain about the heat except me!! It is going to be 116 today! I don't even want to know how much it is in the sun

But, plume, it's a dry heat!  Those that are dealing with temps in the 90's are also dealing with humidity.  I wonder what the 'feel like' temp is with the humidity factored in?   (not saying 116 isn't hot, that's why I live in Flagstaff!)

Oh, and 116 F, that's 47 Celcius, for the Europeans...

well, I know what it's like to be in humid heat, I am from Belgium. When it is hot there, it's sticky. And I lived in Boston for 2 years.

But the problem is that I was told it was a dry heat in AZ. IT IS NOT ALL THE TIME!  They never told me about the mosoon before I moved here. Granted, it is less humid than in the east, but with 116 degrees,it is horrible.

It's 90 here...not as bad as some of you, but I live in Minnesota so don't get a lot of really hot days.  The humidity is 52%.

Believe me I do understand...it is 107 here in cali where I live and expected to be 111 tomorrow. To me anything over 100 is just hot! I remember when I flew into Phoenix and had to deboard outside...why do they do that to you after being in the airconditioning?

Yeah, in the 90's here and ESPECIALLY humid after all the flooding last week.  So it's just dandy.  Supposed to be worse over the weekend though.  Looks like those runs of mine are gonna be killer :)

Please, plume...I'll take a 110 degree day out west over a 95 degree day here.  Gettin soaked in sweat just from walkin to your mail box....

This morning as I was jogging on my treadmill I had the news on and it said the humidity was 87%.  It wasn't raining.

Yeah it's hot on the other side of the state too (NY) ugh!

In Chicago it's in the 90's and HUMID. ugh. Sunday it's supposed to be 99 without the heat index, so i'm gonna go ahead and assume it'll be 110 with the heat index. AHHHHHHHHH! Treadmill it is. :)

I'm in Fargo ND, it is midnite here, and the mercury finally dropped to 81 degrees. IT was over 100 at the highest today, and so darn humid. ugh..

I guess I should be thankful, in 4-5 months it will be back to the teens and single digits and - temps.
