WowCow In Illinois???

Quote  |  Reply

WowCow, the low calorie ice cream, keeps taunting me:(  I hear from my friends in New York and California about how great it is...but I can't find it anywhere by me.  Does anyone know where WowCow is in Illinois?

we have one called skinny cow here... sounds like the same idea.. different name

No idea where you can find it, but I wouldn't bother. I had it once by accident (didn't realise it was low-cal) and it tasted just like you would expect a low-calorie substitute to taste: flavourless, plasticky and artificial.

Eat a smaller scoop of real icecream and be satisfied instead of a low-calorie substitute that totally misses the point of eating icecream.

Actually it is frozen yogurt, not ice cream. Check out your local FroYo places. That being said I don't know what the hype is all about. Compared to regular nonfat frozen yogurt it is icy and most flavors have weird after taste.

You can buy a mix online and make it at home if you have an ice cream machine: http://www.box-of-goodies.com/wow-cow.cfm

The Wow Cow/Only 8/Skinny Minnie ice cream/frozen yogurts are supposedly extremely low calorie (i.e. 50).  I kept hearing of certain frozen yogurt places like a shop in Chicago on Lo Cal Corner which shut down...maybe I won't be lucky...
