Is it wrong to.....add your strangest food habits!

Quote  |  Reply
Just curious what weird habits other people have when it comes to food!  For example.....

Is it wrong to heat up my cottage cheese before I eat it?  (I think it tastes better luke-warm.)

OR

Is it wrong to put ketchup on my baked potato?  (I LOVE ketchup - IMO, it should be a food group!)

Maybe mine aren't that unusual, but I'd love to hear everyone else's!

Have fun!

I do that too!  Salsa is also good on a baked potato for a change.

I also like a turkey sandwich with strawberry jelly.

cereal with anything sweet mixed in it--includes chocolate chips, broken up cookies, candy...

I'm the only one I know who does this and all my friends think I'm disgusting... (well not me but this habit)

Crumpets actually taste pretty nice when you don't toast them (obv there cooked, but cold as there pre made from a shop). They are pretty high in sodium though.

I am kind of fond of burnt toast. Not like black but over normal maximum toasting capacity.
I love to eat plum tomatoes covered in ketchup.
Is it wrong to like to smear Sugar-free Raspberry Jelly on my eggwhite omelette?......cuz I do :)

I like raw elk, bison, beef, ostrich & venison

I eat tomato paste with a spoon out of the can

I love raw cabbage & mustard

Salmon Skin is pretty "freakin'" amazing!

Eel is a top choice in my food preferences

Egg Whites & Sugar Free Pancake Syrup = "pancake"

Egg Whites & Anchovies & Marinated (in olive oil) artichoke hearts

Mayo mixed into my baked beans.  Yummy!

Call it a crepe, and no one will think it strange :)  Those're basically an omelette wrap (they have a little bit of flour, so like a cross between an omelette and a pancake), and people put jelly and other sweets in them all the time :)

I've taken to putting plain yogurt on my dinners all the time.  Used to be it was sour cream, but I tried the yogurt and liked it a lot better on my meat and two veg :)

sugarbabie, i have that almost every other morning. I make a piece of toast, put spray butter, about a tsp of the 100% jelly from smuckers and then dump 1/4 cup cooked egg whites (lightly salted) on top. I think its the sweet/salty thing I love.
I dont like salmon, unless after being cooked its refridgerated and cold in which case I love it.
And for some reason I cant bring myself to just bite into a string cheese.  Weirder though was when I would pull it apart into many skinny strands on a plate and then salt them - that is until I decided I could enjoy it without such a ton of salt.
vmcbutterfly, its DEFINATELY the salty/sweet thing! Also explains my love for chocolate covered pretzels and why I try to stay away from them lol

I love all my breads toasted pretty well. Even my pizza dough has to be really crisp as well as any tortilla's I just cant handle "soft" breads.

I also eat my yogurt with fruit or cereal stirred in. In fact, I never eat cereal with milk, only when its tossed into some yogurt.

I am one of these weird people who love plain rice cakes with cheese or jam on top (not weird really but I love rice cakes)

When I make up my tuna filling for sandwiches, I mix an oil based salad dressing (sundried tomato or the Greek feta dressing are my faves), then I add chopped pickle, tomatoes, black olives, feta cheese, pepper and garlic salt and eat the filling on crackers.

I used to love raw potatoes!
