Just a question.. I wonder how many calories are in a whole tube of cookie dough? Hmm I think its a cute reward if its something you will really enjoy, but what about half a cup or a cup of it? Or maybe a cookie dough ice cream cone? So you could maybe work it into your limit for the day, or have a cheat day, but not go overboard?
If you get an extra-large tube of cookie dought, you know, the ones that make 2 dozen cookies, it has 3,072 calories. But most just make a dozen to a dozen and a half. So that would be somewhere around 2300 calories.
Call me c-r-a-z-y, but I am NOT opposed to free days once in a while, even once a week. When I was at my MOST intense, I was taking one free day a week, and still losing between 1-3lbs a week.  I think you are going to eat your bucket of cookie dough whether or not we tell you to or not, so please just do whatever you feel you really want.  IF you don't think you will feel guilty and blame yourself endlessly for days, and let it spiral one day, after the other, after the other with "cheating" on bad food, I say just do it and get it over with.  WHY?  Sometimes I feel that eating that way - - the way we all USED to, until we were so sick from being full, reminds us how terrible we used to eat each and every single day, and motivates us to continue on our healthy paths......not to mention if you don't, you may just get to the point where ALL you crave is that cookie dough, and end up eating badly for days on end.  As long as we all eat good MOST of the time and move our bodies, it is OKAY, and even encourged to eat "bad" SOME of the time!

Good luck in whatever you choose to do!  I just hope it's worth it!
I'd rather have a couple of cookies at the end of each successful week as opposed to eating an ENTIRE tube of dough AFTER I reached my goal.

To each his own!
I always heard not to reward with food, but darn, cookie dough is amazingly good!  But a whole tube?  I bet once you start eating it, you will not want to finish the tube since you have been doing so good.

My reward once I lose my weight and get rid of the nasty cigs is the skin treatment, macrobrasion or something like that.  Has anyone done it and is it worth it?  and maybe a chunk of cookie dough lol.  I love that stuff too!

a couple rules i like to stick to are:

1. Food is not for comfort, awards, when you are feeling down, etc. Try other things: take a walk, exercise, listen to music, go out w/ friends, have fun.

***For rewards you could let yourself spend some defined amount of money [that you set earlier] on clothes, jewelry, things to remodel your room, etc

2. You can have tasty foods every once in a while. moderation!    [instead of eating a bunch of cookie dough at one time, just have a little spoonful and savor it]

3. dont completely deprive yourself for long periods of time! The cravings will eventually catch up to you and then you wont be able to stop yourself from eating a bunch

Ew. Well. Okay. That's... really gross.

Why would you "reward" weight loss with harming yourself? Especially with something that'll undo what you just accomplished. It's like "Hey, look! I recreated Vahn Gough's Starry Night!" then doodling scribbles all over it.

How about a new pair of jeans, or a piece of jewelry or something?

Ok I kind of agree about that but at the same time if that will make her happy then maybe she can work it into calories for the week?  I dunno.

Um...... OH yeah!  I gotta start rewarding myself.  I should do something nice after I break the 140s.  BLARG.  Got down to 140, now back up to 140.4 as of this morning.
