Wrong nutrition info...
What can we do about wrong info in the calorie count database? I enter some foods in manually... but it's hard to do this with the foods I weigh. Hellman's Light Mayo is wrong by 10 calories per serving. That can really add up. Any advice?
If the item has more cals then cc says I just add the cals as if I was adding a unlisted item. If the item is less then cc says and its 10 cals or less I just go with cc. Its not like every item is off. I usually run across one or two each week. I figure this isn't an exact science and I'm not one of those people that recalculate prepackaged food by the actual weight not packaged weight so there are usually more cals in my day.
If its something you use regularly enter it as if its an unlisted food and tag it. That way you can just go to your tags instead of having to reenter the item(s) each time.
Under the letter grade on the food summary, you can click on "Report Bad Grade" to write an email with your concern. I did this for a food once, and got a reply that they would fix it, which they have. It usually takes a few days for the info to go through.
Thanks... I'll try that.
