hey does any one know how many calories is in a cup of wu long tea? I bought the stuff a long time ago and figured this would be a good time to start using it. I dont think there is any calories in tea if you dont use milk or sugar, right? I looked on their website but it doesnt say.

Hello ( :
Shouldn't have any. Just FYI, Wulong tea is usually better known as Oolong tea. Log it as 0 cals unless you're adding, as you said, milk or sugar.

Thanks,

I have been drinking it at night after dinner and it seems to help me with that wanting something sweet feeling.

Zero, zip, nada unless you add milk (which basically strips anything healthy out of the tea) or sugar.

If I remember correctly, Oolong is simply processing the tea leaves somewhere between green and black.  I had a tea connoisseur once tell me that there were more varieties of Oolong teas than there were varieties of wines.  Imagine that!

Anyhow, Oolong is great and great for you!  But other teas are great for you as well.  Try some white, green, or black tea too, you may like them.  Black tends to be my favorite, but there is a peets jasmine green tea that I love.   Jasmine downy pearls it's called.  Really nice stuff.
