Good evening everyone

I have few questions about xenical.

Did anyone here use it? succes? problems?
I've been using it  quite regularly since nearly 2 weeks and I have experienced a weight loss of 2,2 kg (i believe its something like 5 pounds) with little changes to my daily diet, like eliminating bread and skipping a meal every 1 or 2 days.
I have another 2 weeks of not doing jack s***t so i will use them to take xenical until i start uni again.
does the rate of the weight loss increases or decreases with time?

anything can help to increase it's effects?

thanks for the answers guys :) have a good one

Hi Stef- I've tried true Xenical in the past - lost minimal weight, but of course I used Xenical as an excuse to eat anything I wanted, including salads with full fat ranch and cheese.  ;)

On Alli now- not sure if the stuff works, I'm steady losing weight but also dieting and working out this time around.

Long story short, I've tried, am on it now, and I still have no idea if it works.  I figure it can't hurt.  :)

ok :) thanks
ive stopped the workout and my weight is stable, I think I will have to start again hehe. I keep using it tho.

no one?

I used Xenical when it first came out and it's a great product if you want to treat yourself to a little higher fat than normal.  It just pushes about a third of your fat calories out without digesting the fat so it's affective, but kinda gross.  Alli works the same way but you only block about 20 percent of the fat.  I'm not as impressed as I was with Xenical.  A friends daughter just prescribed her Metformin (a diabetic medication) and she's turning cartwheels with her weight loss.  I've read up on it and non diabetic patients can lose weight by taking the medication but it should always be combined with a lifestyle change i/e exercise and/or healthier meals.

It's not a magic pill, but it helps.

 Good luck,

Christi

I take Alli, and I haven't had any problems even though I go over my fat grams limit.  I have lost 8 pounds in 3 weeks, and typically I lose 1-1 and 1/2 pounds a week while dieting without Alli.  I started using it to get over a plateau, and I have 12 pounds to go.  I eat 1400 calories a day, with around 50 or so fat grams a day. It works only if you watch your calories. (I don't exercise much)
