definitely a good sign!  But recovery is more than weight gain.

how do you deal with stress?  How is your anxiety?  Have you worked through the issues that started your ED?  Are you confident you have other coping mechanisms when you get stressed?

For recovery, yes, it's a good sign. :] And even if it is only a little don't be disheartened, any gain is a gain and a step closer to freedom from this ED once and for all! For_zev has put to you some very good questions to ask yourself. I'd say you're still recovering but making vast improvements.

How much have you been eating, thus far, in terms of calories? 2500 is the minimum for a woman to aim to gain on, though there is no upper limit on what you should eat within reason. If you're not at 2500 then get to that, and if you're above it, then add 500 to what you're eating. And if you're exercising at all, eat back what you burn on TOP of at least 2500.

I would think that not actually wanting to gain weight is one huge obstacle to recovery.  And what is sucess other than overcoming obstacles?

Sounds like you are doing great!  Keep up the good work.

YAYS! IM SSOO PROUD OF YOU! :)

same spirit as i had, but i still am ridding my ED behaviours, although i have a healthy relationship with food

i stared like that, after i got hunger back, it pained me not to eat, (woot metric!) i gained about 15 kilos in 3weeks?!?!? a month? seriously, no fluctuations, most was probably my body stocking up on lost water.

These are VERY good signs :) i would eat a normal day, 3 meals (normal portions) one snack, i sat there 'mum im hungry can i eat' she fell off her chair, 'of course!' i had  banana loads of nuts an maybe an ice cream, ok i bloated and felt sick but the point was i was hungry! i've tamed myself and learnt my limits, i now understand my body,  trust u can do the same :)

i admit originally it took a week to gain, yeah about that, i lost a bit of weight un-intetionally at some points, i actually lost a kilo the other day, i freaked and had ice cream and cake not at once,iv'e learnt to spread out my foods, for you now sweetie, it does't matter :) although many will say to avoid binges, it is wise, recovery will be easier if you spread out foods. i never planned, if i had, i probably would never have gotten rid of my 'planning' behaviour counting cals etc. i ate whatever, whenever i wanted, now i love food, i help shop, cook and am catering at christmas :)

please message me about anything

and i highly reccommend you read the posts i have in weight gain and my threads i've started, your heaps vibrant, as i was, my journey may help you...

btw when i was gaining heaps, it was over the holidays of term3-term4 i was sedentary and eating at least 3500+ :) dont fear junk food when you gain, you can eat anything, heck i still indulge daliy and im maintaining, but a) it helped me gain b)it helped my happiness with food

The fact that you are noting a 400g gain says you probably have a ways to go. Pee and it will probably go away...
