I've been avoiding eating at quiznos because they lacked their calorie information. Well I guess they just added their nutritionals (well sorta..) to their website.

Quiznos Watching Calories Chart

Please note these are for their small on wheat sandwiches. Still opens me up to try new sandwiches while hanging out with people.

I found out about this from a Hungry-Girl email, and I was pleased.  Yeah, you need to stick with the small on wheat sandwiches to be reasonable, and you still have to watch the sauces they use.

Word of caution:  Pay close attention to the nutritionals on the "chop house salads" - most of the time they're just as bad as the sandwiches!

Finally!  I've been watching their website for a couple months now.  As far as nutritionals; it kept saying they would be posting in the Fall of 2007.  Too bad it doesn't have any breakdowns on those calories.  Oh well...I guess something is better than nothing.

Ohhh...love Quiznos so this is great.  Have been avoiding them but at least I can find better options now.
i loooove quizzies. ;)
I still wouldn't order a salad and I haven't been to Quizno's in a while so don't know how small a small sandwich is. I just like to avoid fast food places in general no matter if they provide nutritional info or not. I feel much better eating food that i have prepared myself. But it is good for a lot of people that they finally posted that info.
well that sure is a start in the right direction.

It's far better than how it used to be: http://www.calorie-count.com/forums/post/1413 .html
My question is, when you look at the nutritional value, it gives extra options for "+ cheese" and "+ dressing". When you add these options it really increases the calorie value. So does the initial estimate exclude the cheese and dressing that comes on the subs?
burliminator: my guess is yes. this webpage is not all that helpful - but it is better than nothing - which is what they had before.
Sure, it's a step in the right direction, but it's still a poor layout and the information is really lacking. Subway really breaks it down for you, as do a lot of other restaurants. I wish every company would devote that much effort into providing nutrional information. There are a lot of people out there who would like to know...

Yes, the cheese and dressing comes on the sub. So the fact that you have to manually add it to get the correct amount of calories seems kind of sneaky to me.

I have found that Culvers has a pretty easy to use site and it will do all of the caluclations for you as you input very specific level data on what you had.  Sums up each item and shows you a summary with all nutrition data summed up.
i really like that they have the full calories for a meal. with the chips and the drink and everything. that's pretty helpful.
