~*YCC Forum Rules - Please read before posting*~

Welcome to the Young Calorie Counters forum!  This area was specifically created for the teenagers and twenty-somethings on Calorie Count to talk about (almost) anything that comes to mind.  So kick back and talk amongst your peers.

But wait... Before you get started, make sure you become familiar with the YCC Rules and CC Posting Guidelines.

Rule #1:  Everyone is welcome in the YCC forum regardless of their age.  But, if you are not a YCCer and just stopping in to chat, please be respectful.  Remember, issues affect us differently at different ages and this is a place for the YCCers to open up and be themselves.

Rule #2:  Be Careful of the information and details that you give on the internet.  Avoid giving out any personal information that can be used for malicious purposes.

Rule #3:  Please keep the 'net lingo' and 'text' talking to a minimum.  This will make it easier for those of all ages to read and respond to your topics.

Rule #4:  Remember that the tools on CC are geared towards adults.  Please use the following links that are catered specifically for teens if you are 21 yo or under.

  • Calculator and calorie information for Teens
  • Nutrition, Exercise & Weight Management for Teens
  • More Nutrition & Health for Teens
  • Weight Management for Kids/Teens

  • Rule #5:  Have fun!  This is your place to be yourself and socialize amongst your peers.

Rule #6:  If you experience any issues or a problem arises, feel free to PM me or another forum moderator.  We are here to help!

Rule #7:  If you read a thread or post that you feel may be against Posting Guidelines or against Calorie Count's mission, please select the Report Violation at the top of the thread and it will be brought to the moderators attention for review.

Rule #8:  All of the standard forum guidelines apply here, just as they do anywhere else on CC.  Please abide by them, and if you have questions about whether something is or is not a violation, PM me in advance so we can discuss.
