am254: I don't think there's an age limit on being healthy. As long as you goals are to eat healthier, get more exercise, and to be at an appropriate weight...I don't see anything wrong with you being here.
tincognito: Ya, my burn meter had dropped by 100 a month before my stall. I don't really think I was stalled so much as me just slacking off. So it was just me.
I'm back on track I think as I was able to lose 2 lbs at this weeks weigh-in. Yayz!

We can do it guys!! Hope you are all having a good week-end. I am watching the Chicago Marathon right now to try and catch a sight of my husband. The elite runners are amazing, but it's the first timers and the wheel chair atheletes that are really awesome! Goin out for a run! Good luck for Weigh #3!
Happy Canadian Thanksgiving, everyone! (Okay, it's tomorrow, but my family is celebrating it today as tomorrow we drive my sister back home.)
I will be flunking this week's challenge royally. With the holiday weekend, I'm eating maintenance (but no more!). My body seems to have needed it though; I was down two pounds this morning! Who knew that onion rings would help with weight loss? :-) :-) :-)
Hello everyone. hope we all had a good week! Im down another 2lbs, which im very happy with.
i had pizza night with the family twice this wk, instead of our usual 1 time. i also only worked out 1 day this wk. its also ttom. All the forces are working agaisnt me. lol but i still managed a loss!
I stayed the same this week but also still sick. I was able to stick to my calories so I know I can maintain. Finally got the okay from the doctor to start working out again and my body is screaming out loud for the treadmill! My goal for next week is two pounds. When i was working out 5 days, this was very attainable for me. I know how far I can push and am I ready! Great job on all your losses this week! If anyone gained, I know how you feel, since I gained last week...BUT dont let that get you down! Work harder this week and tell yourself we can do it!

Sorry I missed the last 2 weeks of weigh-in's. I have a huge test coming up and I couldnt stop eating. The test is on saturday (in 4 days) and i've been doing much better in the past couple of days (I mean better with the food). After the test is over, im gonna be back on track. Wish me luck!

OMG, I'm totally gonna suck it up this time guys/gals. >_< Sorry, I just had a miserably stressful week. I even had Wedny's and McDonald's in the same day. UGH!
If anyone has any tricks to avoid emotional eating, I'm taking. This semester is the freaking worst semester of my life.
OMG! I feel like I am the only one not loosing weight! I am gaining! I just started working on the treadmill on Monday. Its in my house so I have no excuse and I paid a lot of money for it. Hopefully 30 minutes a day at 3.5 on an incline will start to show some results. I am really upset right now. I feel like I should drop off of the group so I dont hold anyone back..............
Have you looked at my weight Shannon?! Lol! Don't feel too bad. I feel soooo guilty. I've fluctuated between 154 and 156 the ENTIRE time. >_<
It's hard to stay motivated during the holidays... =(
Don't drop out, Shannon! The whole point is to help motivate us to lose weight - not really to win a contest.
I have bronchitis this week and haven't been able to exercise at all. I technically lost weight, but only because my weight decided to bounce down on weigh-in day. It's really been stable at last week's level for the last week. So, I may even gain next week (unless I get another low "bounce"). Which kind of sucks. But right now, I'm more focused on getting healthy again than any sort of weight loss.

Thank you for the support! I am hanging in here. I can get back on track. I will do this! Its hard when your down though. It took a lot of Mind over Matter to get me motivated again. I only loss one pound this week but thats one pound that I didnt gain this week. I will take it. Thanks again so much for the support. Happy WI everyone!
Okay Yellow! September and October have been especially challenging for me with work (new boss), and taking classes 3 nights a week. Good thing, one class is over that met 2x weekly, whew! I'm getting serious with my lack of weight loss and getting to the gym and the pool. I'm also counting my calories and watching the food I put into my mouth...imagine that.
Next week I will have a weight loss...promise!

I've found my mojo! Worked out at the gym Friday night for 1 1/2 hours, elliptical on intervals followed by a circuit routine (jump rope, planks, wall squats, and such).
Saturday two Jillian DVD's, full frontal, cardio kickboxing and then the ab ripper from P90X (only can do about 1/2 the reps of each, he does 25 each.)
Sunday, 3 mile run with the dog.
Monday, spin for 60 min, followed with 20 min lap swim.
If that scale doesn't move for this weeks weighin...I'll be truly ticked.
