Yet another cereal topic - and I really need your help!

I know that there are many cereal threads already started, but mine's a bit different and more specific.

I am looking for a cold cereal that is filling and under 130 calories per serving. Is there any cold cereal on the market today that doesn't leave you hungry?

(Please don't suggest anything like Go Lean Crunch - too high in calories.)

I think Grape Nuts O's comes pretty close and I've found it to be enough to get me through to lunch...I also think it's quite yummy. My only challenge is that not all grocery stores carry it and I keep forgetting to ask the store I go to the most to add it to their inventory. I'm curious to see what other ideas folks have - I'd love some lower cal cold cereal options for evening snacks.
I really like the Kellogg's Complete Bran Flakes.  3/4 cup is 90 calories.  I usually eat a cup each morning for about 120 calories.  I will also eat the store brand of this and can't tell the difference except the $2.00 cost savings.
i know you said no kashi go lean crunch, but regular kashi go lean is 140 calories per cup and it's really filling!
Honey Nut Cheerios is 110 per 3/4 cup, and off-brand (Malt-o-Meal I think?) is either 110 or 120 per cup. I eat nonfat yoghurt with it and usually some dried blueberries for about 200 give or take for breakfast. Keeps me full.
honeycombs- 120 calories for 1 1/2 cups. its perfect, tasty, has vitamins and is a big serving.
Kashi Heart to Heart is 110 cals for 3/4 cup and fairly dense/crunchy so it's pretty filling. I usually pack a baggie and eat it dry as a mid-morning snack.
Why focus on so low calories in the morning? Your just going to be left starving all day, and eating a whole 90 calories in the morning is not going to rev that metabolism of yours, sorry.
you could make your own with grains from the bulk section.  then you'd really be in control of sugar content, etc.

TRY SPECIAL K WITH STRAWBERRIES.  IT KEEPS ME FULL ALL MORNING, AND IT TASTES GOOD.
KIX and CHERRIOS!
Fiber One (Original) --> One cup is 120 calories and is FILLED with fiber (26g), so it leaves me full.  I add 3/4 cup of unsweetened almond breeze (30 calories), which means I get a filling bowl of cereal for 150 calories, leaving me room to add egg whites and fruits.  Yum.

I really like Total cereal and it has SO many vitamins and minerals for your day!  I can't get enough Iron without eating my Total in the morning (or evening if I'm in a rush)

Thanks so much everyone, for your help. I went to the store this morning, and I thought I would just try the plain bran flakes for now.

On the website it shows that Go Lean Regular is 140 calories, but on the box it said 200 :/ (without added milk, for 1 cup or 55g). I live in Canada, so it must be different here.

Heart to Heart wasn't even on the shelf... and I didn't get a chance to find out what Total was, because I just read that post now.

The problem with cereals like Special K, Kix, Honeycombs and Honey Nut O's is that I've tried them before, and they are the ones that don't really fill me up... and Grape Nuts are yuckky.

Oh, and making my own is certainly not an option - It takes enough effort for me to pour the milk in the bowl :p

If there are any other ideas, please...keep them coming, as I really need them!
Cinnamon mini-wheats have about 7 calories per bisquit.  I frickin' love Cinnamon mini-wheats and they fill me up!  Also Cinnamon Life has 150 calories per 3/4th cup so take a little off the top and enjoy the calorie reducing affects of cinnamon.  I heart Cinnamon!! I also heart Canada, I had my honeymoon in Montreal and I can't wait to go to B.C. for the Olympics.
As runner_girl said, Fiber One!!! I LOVE this cereal. It's only 120 Calories for an entire cup of  cereal...and it's important to compare the amount of grams including in each serving. For example, Rice Krispies are low in calorie, but you typically get 30 grams (if that) of actual food in a cup compared to Fiber One, which is 60 grams in a cup. It's very filling and satisfying. I personally put blueberries in with the cereal as an extra treat. Try this stuff! It's great!
Another way to get more bang for your buck is to use Unsweetened Almond Breeze instead of milk.  It is almond milk, instead of cow's milk, and when you use it no cereal, you really can't tell the difference at all.  But it's only 40 calories for a cup, so you can then have more cereal to fill you up.

Also look at the grams of fiber in the cereals you are looking at.  More fiber will make you feel more full.

My favourites are Kashi Strawberry Fields and Original Special K. Both are each 120 calories for 1 cup! Yummy!

Although lots of these suggestions are super-yummy and may be lower in calories, I just discovered that if you read the labels on most cereals, you'd be astonished. I've been religiously eating All-Bran for breakfast and lunch for a long while now, to keep my fiber intake up, and just realized that the second ingredient is sugar-glucose/fructose. Yikes! It has a lot more sugar than a lot of the "kids" cereals! My resolve is just to sprinkle 100% natural bran on my yogourt and blueberries in the morning.
all bran maple and brown sugar and multi grain cheerios
non of this 1/2 cup crap, theyre both 110 for a whole cup :)
