Yoga Ball, Help!!!!!!

I bought this yoga ball to help me with my sit ups but I'm not sure if Im using it right. I think that Im too short for the ball its a size 65cm. and I'm 5 ft. Are there smaller sizes for short people? And when I'm doing the sit ups how far do I come up? Any sugestions or helpfull exercise tips???

Hey felicia,

The yoga ball you have is too big- for your size you need 55cm.  You can simply let some of the air out of your ball to decrease the size and see if that works.

As for what to do with that ball, there are a couple of great websites that demonstrate how to perform different exercises try these sites:

I took pilates on the ball and my instructor told us your thighs should be parallel to the floor if you're sitting on it...  Does that work for you?

If you need to get another one, you can always use this one as a computer chair- they're great for your back!  ;)
Thank so much... I think that I am going to try take it back to Walmart and exchange it for a smaller size. I have the box and reciept. So you say to get 55cm. Thats what I get for those impluse buyes. I also bought a yoga mat. Very helpfull. We have wood floors, and it was killing me. Oh that web link was great. I am a visual learner and I would have read the same instructions 3-4 times and still would not get it. the short viedo clips were great.
