yoga bruises
i just started yoga, have practiced about 5-6x now and i just noticed some bruising on my back, waist and thigh area..has anyone else had this... is it normal...is it healthy...what does this mean?

It might be concerning. I don't know what kind of yoga you're doing, and what kind of poses and equipment you're using. If you're putting a lot of pressure on those places by lying on them or leaning on blocks and such, then bruising isn't all that abnormal. I've never had that happen to me, though I bruise in an average sort of way. See if they go away, or get worse.....if they get worse, you might want to see a doctor just to be safe. If they get better and don't come back, it's probably just a reaction to teaching your body new ways to move.
