Yoga Today

I am curious to see if anyone has found a good way to track caloric burn in various yoga practices.

This site offers Hatha as an option...

But what about Ashtanga, kundalini, etc;

How do you catagorize these activities when inputting?

Thanks!

OH, I have been frustrated about this for a while.  I practice yoga that is much tougher than what I suspect they have listed in the tools.  Because they list it as "stretching" I don't think they really get it.  Hunh?  Ashtanga is flow and strength training as well as stretching!  Have been meaning to request a yoga update but haven't gotten around to it.
Yes, make the request.  I've seen other sites that list ashtanga yoga at anywhere between 400-600 calories an hour.  I typically just estimate depending on how intensive the practice was that day.   Lots of chaturungas and sweating, I'll put it at 600; more seated postures, I use 400.
I have been searching other places and I cannot seem to find a calculator that has the power yoga option.

Perhaps this study has never been done.

Perhaps I am doomed to use Calisthenics as my input oprtion FOREVER...

lame.

Does anyone else use YogaToday?

Yes, I love yoga today.  Adi Amar is a fantastic instructor.

Here is a calculator I found for "intense" yoga styles:

Or do a google search "yoga calories burned" and you will get some different estimates.
