What is the best lite or no sugar added yogurt? I want something that doesn't have an aftertaste to it. Unfortunately I can taste the artificial sweetener in almost everything. I can even taste it when I mix splenda and sugar together to try and make it better.
I have heard from my naturalpathic doctor to go ahead and eat the normal yogurt because the extra 20 or so calories is better than the artificial sweetners that can has adverse effects later in life......
just a thought.

Your best bet is to buy plain yogurt and sweeten it yourself.
However, back when I used to eat artificially sweetened yogurt, the only brand I would buy was Yoplait Source (though I think it's only sold in Canada).
I really like & recommend Dannon Light n Fit.
I can't stand artificial sweetners in most everything, but the yoplait light's are actually pretty tasty. Although stick with the fruit flavors. The non-fruit ones you can taste it in, eew (or at least the vanilla one. after that i didn't try any experimenting)
All the Yoplait Light Fat Free yogurts are great, specifically the pie flavored ones! Key Lime Pie and Lemon Meringue are my favorites. The Very Cherry is my favorite fruit flavor. Most are 100 - 110 calories each and are great for an after dinner snack. I'm bad about waking up for a midnight snack if I don't eat something before bed.
I love Yoplait light as well...all the pie flavors are pretty tasty and the new rasberry cheesecake and pineapple upside down cake are good too!
For more plain yogurts I usually get dannon light n' fit or Eating Right vanilla.
I guess I'll buy a few light and fit yogurts and see how I like them. Thanks guys!
Rachel's yogurt comes in some really unique flavors (Plum Honey Lavender, for instance) and as far as I know doesn't have fake sugar or HFCS.
i'm a fan of fage yogurt.
I agree with Cellophane_star, buy plain (vanilla is not plain, runningbuns, and is loaded with sugars/sweeteners) and sweeten yourself with fruit or honey, etc, or go for the naturally sweetened fruit flavours.
Another thought: If you go for organic, you'll be more likely to find kinds that are sweetened with things you can actually pronounce. At least you'll know what's in them.
If you can taste sweetners, DO NOT GET DANNON LIGHT N FIT!! It used to be okay, but I believe they changed their formula and now all I can taste is sucralose, so I stopped eating it.
I really like low fat or no fat plain yogurt, then I throw in some fruit, mango is really sweet, or apple sauce with crushed almonds on top, I don't think it needs any sweetener.
try "the greek gods" non fat greek yogurt. i buy the plain kind and put fruit, almonds, flax seeds, and cereal in it in the morning. only 60 calories, 10g carbohydrates, 6 grams of protein. I swear by it.
Is jump roping as good an exercise as running?
In terms of calorie burning, moderate jumping is about equal to running a 10-minute mile, although calorie burning is always a function of time... Read more
