On the pie chart, how many should come from fat/protein/carbs? What's a good balance?

I get about...
- 30% proteins
- 60% carbs
- 10% fats
- 30% protein
- 50% carbs
- 20% fats
If you don't mind sharing, what's a typical day for your diet consist of? Those look like awesome ratios and I don't know how to get there.
Here is a really good web site to use to track how much of each you should have each day. http://www.healthcalculators.org/index.html
I generaly keep to 1500-1750 calories a day:
Fiber 20-35 grams (very important)
Protein 10-15%
Fat 20-30%
Carbs 40-60%
Using the analysis under your profile with help you track how much you are eating in each of these areas.
Best wishes!
You should get 20-30% from fats. Fats are very important because they help you absorb nutrients and vitamins from your food, help keep your hormones running, and help keep you 'regular'. :)
Protein varies. Some people will tell you that you need 30%, others will say you only need 10-15%. I believe thaat you should try in between these figures - about 20% if you are mostly SEDENTARY. If you exercise regularly or are trying to gain muscle, you will need more.
As long as you get enough protein and fats, carbs will come naturally. If you find that your carb percentage is above 50-60%, then you know either a) you are not getting enough of either fats or proteins or b) you are eating too many calories. But I've never heard of anyone not getting ENOUGH carbs. :P
