I totally have the same problem as you! Im 18 as well, 5'4, 127 and wish to get down to 120. I hate when my friends say that crap. I'm like, just be supportive! I think people are afraid of their friends looking good. People get comfortable with knowing their friends aren't perfect, and it makes them feel better about themselves. Confidence scares people. Keep up the good work though and don't lose your focus! :)

I had my annual physical this month and I'm currently at the most I've ever weighed. It makes me feel pretty terrible about myself considering I was at what my new 'goal' weight is back in high school. College has done terrible things to me, apparently. Oy!
