5''7 / 5''8 young girls. whats your ideal weight?

Im 132 or 127 and a half. ( my home and gym have different readings! :| )

Im looking to get down to about 119 before my holiday and thats in just less than 1 month. so reallly soon!

What are you all looking to lose? and what do you think is a healthy weight for people our height?

alyssaarose: From personal experience, 110 is too thin for someone of your height. I have pictures of myself at 115 (I'm five eight) and I was far too thin, nearly skeletal. 120 is an excellent weight for your height, I hope you decide to maintain and just tone up a bit!

Also, if your friends are telling you that you are fat at 120 pounds, you might need to get new friends haha

 

lealea123: I know that I look my best around 124-128. I get thinner than that and my shoulder bones start to protrude (it's disgusting) However I have a friend who is an inch taller than me, 150 lbs but EXTREMELY muscular (she runs marathons) and looks thinner than I do at that weight. I know someone else who is 5'7 and 100 lbs, impossibly thin, but she miraculously doesn't look bony or scary skinny -- she actually looks really great. I know when I was that thin I had bones sticking out everywhere! The human body is amazing. I think it just depends on how your weight is distributed and how much of your weight is muscle.

I'm 5'8.5 and my lowest was 98lbs. I'm about 111 right now, and hoping to get up to 115 short term. Eventually 118-120.

my ideal weight is 115-118.....but i got a different body

my booty is 37 inches while my waist is 23 inch...so thats big difference

You shouldn't have a goal of being underweight!  I was 5'7" and 112 lbs. at one point...had awful mood swings, was always tense, and eventually developed a binging problem.  BE CAREFUL!

I sort of let myself go a little...I'm currently 135, and I'd like to be 120-125.

Wow, a lot of people's goal's are so much lower than mine.
Maybe most of you are small framed?
I'm 5"6.5' (close enough to 5"7') and currently 149lbs.
I'm medium framed, and probably at lowest would wanna be 135, but I'm not so much worried about the scale, I just want to lose some more fat and tone up.

I'm 5'9" and 22.. my goal weight at this point is 165. I've never been thin before so I have no idea what size I'll be or what I'll even look like. You guys that are this tall and wanting to weight below 120.. that doesn't seem all that healthy.

I'm 5'8, medium frame, weighing in at somewhere over 154lbs (I don't know how much more, I can just tell I've gained weight...)

I would, in an ideal world, weigh 126lbs.  However, the lowest I've been in my 'adult' life (ie, since I was about 7 or 8) is 135, and I'd be quite happy to get back there, the healthy way! I still felt like I had weight to lose, but i did look a lot better.

I'm 5'8 - small frame. At my heaviest 176... currently 141.2  (decimals matter!!)

Dream weight 130..... ideal weight 136   :)  

 

I think what upsets me the most is BMI. My doctor says I'm perfectly healthy. I feel healthy and I can still run, do 50 push-ups and 100 sit ups. I'm healthier than some of my "skinny" friends. But I have shoulders that are 58 inches around. My hips are 42 inches and so is my chest. And my hips are bony. I despise BMI. I have a lot of muscle on my body and because of that, I weigh 180 pounds. BMI doesn't take that into account. But a doctor does. And a doctor is who should tell you your ideal weight. 

Oops. 48 inches on my shoulders =]

I'm 5'7, 24, and currently 185.  Ideally, I'd like to be 135.  But realistically? 145.  

I think that would make me a very comfortable size 8.

Im 5'8-small frame? I'm 135 lbs. (size 26-28/ 6-7) or below (it varies) and im 14 years old. Im' not happy with my weight at all though. i still have tummy fat and some on my arms. My dream weight is 120-125 (size 24-26/ 3-4?) Is that too skinny? Does anyone know any EFFECTIVE (actually worked on you) ways to loose tummy fat?
