You're being tracked...
I'm watching a movie and in it someone is being tracked by the FBI, bugs, tracking devices, hidden cameras, bank account frozen etc...
It got me wondering....not that it is ever likely to happen but how quickly do you think that you would become aware that something was wrong...
Would you think to look for cameras, bugging and tracking devices, or would it just never enter your head?

Everyone is being watched way more than we realize. My best friend's dad installs hidden video cameras for a living (for businesses). They're EVERWHERE.
WHERE??? Tell us some of the stranger hiding places.
Already being tracked. Work in a place that is loaded with cameras. Wear a head set where every word that I say is recorded. Signed a paper stating that I would not publish anything work related on the net.
It doesn't bother me. If it thrills someone to watch me good for them. Their life must be really lacking if all they have to do watch me serve customers all night.
I had a co-worker today tell me that he had heard that the government is installing little video cameras inside the tv converter boxes. He's always rambiling on about one conspiracy or another.
they've got all kinds of CCTV's scattered throughout London watching, watching, watching.
supposed to have profiling software too to target specific issues... though they really can't define it as profiling. Not sure what word they use but it is what it is.
The UK has gone camera daft! they reckon we are the most watched in the western world...with one camera to every 14 people.
they get on my nerves! put more police on the streets again and give us some privacy back...
I'm not convinced that they don't have them in public toilets in the washroom bit.
I suppose it's no different than a policeman staring at you or a camera. Camera feels less creepy.
And I wouldn't be surprised if there were cameras in changing rooms/bathrooms. I don't use public bathrooms, but I have used changing rooms and I always change in them like I'm on camera, one shirt is going on as the other is coming off. Pants are a bit harder, but everything is covered at least.
you and me must be tarnished with the same brush regarding the changing room thing.
Nah i find cameras creepy i always imagine some dirty old man perving like they do with the 50pence peep shows in SOHO
Lol, it could be worse, you could see the old man watching... *shudder*

After I first watched the movie 'The Truman Show' I started thinking that my life was actually a TV show. Granted I was a middle schooler with a big imagination at the time, but sometimes I still wonder...
i felt that way in elem & middle school long before the truman show. like everyone was just placating me somehow and hiding some "truth" from me.
I probably should have told the counselor that.
I still secretly suspect that my "life" is actually a dream, and I'm really in a coma. And when I get a headache in my "life", it's really caused by a clumsy nurse dropping my comatose body on the floor head-first while turning me to relieve bed-sores or give me a sponge bath.
