Aww Lisa, Losing weight has to be one of the hardest challenges in life. Take things one step at a time and always remember your goal. You'll have off days but stay focused!
I've lost 22lb since my heaviest weight, and trust me it's been the hardest thing ever.
If you need support make sure you message me ![]()
Well I weight in today after 3 days of Dieting and I have lost 3 pounds. I think ALOT of that is drinking the water b/c I am a huge soda drinker. So hopefully I can continue a good weight loss. I am struggling with getting my calories in b/c I am afraid to go over the amount I can have. Like today I have had 844 and should have 1408. Any ideas? I am afraid of failing this time.

Hello ladies!!! I had a WONDERFUL vacation in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and didn't think about calories one time (ok maybe a few). I had a nice "diet vacation" but still remained active while I was there (swimming, walking, running, etc). When I got back I actually weighed in a little lower than expected. It feels great to be back on track! So Saturday's weight was 193.2 (woot woot--as wants2bhot would say)! BUT that didn't last too long. I hit the gym and got back into my cardio and weight training routine. Unfortunately I'm sore, and I think TOM is lurking around somewhere. Needless to say, I am up today, but hopefully expecting a drop when I weigh in again on Saturday.
I can see that I missed a lot (almost 2 pages worth)! So first, let me welcome mikka_jd and clc1979!! This is a great motivational group!
brownsug I am so proud of you!!! Not giving up and pushing through can really help make a difference! Don't worry how small the initial loss is. It really adds up, and before you know it you will be at your goal weight!! Keep up the great work!
lisaokafor3288-- You are on a roll!!! Go ahead girl! Keep it up! I know that weight fluctuations are normal, but sometimes they can be so frustrating. Just keep doing what you're doing, and it will level out.
tmoakley11-- Congrats!!! You were worried that you weren't losing anything, and you've started to shed. Like I told brownsug, don't worry about the how small the loss is, because it really adds up! And your Thanksgiving goal is achievable if you just stick with it!!!
wants2bhot-- GOAL????? I'm sooooo happy for you!! "CAN I GET A WOOT WOOT???"--LOL! That is soooo amazing and inspirational! So you have achieved your goal and now need to maintain? Wow! Well I nominate you as the veteran of this group. So please still drop in and give us plenty of advice! : )
You ladies are truly something! I'm so happy that we are doing this together! Keep up the good work!

Hey ladies! I hope everyone is having a great week! I'm still on track (counting calories and exercising) but haven't seen 193 pounds again on the scale! I'm still hoping that it will show up by the end of the week. TOM was definitely lurking and causing me to retain a bunch of water, so since it's done I had a small loss but just not big enough!
Welcome back edmcky05!!! Good job on the 5lb. loss already!!! Don't worry about falling off the wagon-we all do it-- what matters is that you made the decision to come back and keep trying! Keep it up!
lisaokafor3288 Sorry to hear that you were sick BUT on the up side...Congratulations!! Welcome to onderland!! I know that it feels soooo good to see a 1 in front of any number. Keep it up!!

Just wanted to check in and say hi! WELCOME to all the newcomers! You will love this group! Everyone is so supportive!
So glad to see the progress Brownsug!! Can't wait to see you hit that 206-207! You are right there!
Lisa and Harmonwelcome to Onederland! You ladies are doing awesome! As the veteran of the group, I am sooo proud! Keep up the good work!
As for me, I'm now down to 146. My new goal is 145, but I would ultimately like to get to 142 so that I have some insurance lbs. in there and can stay far away from the 150's! No hurry though.....I'm embracing my new me, and so proud of how I've come through this journey! All of you will get there too! I can tell you that there will be times when you want to quit, there will be plateaus that will make you want to scream! Just know that it will pass.....please know that calorie counting and a little movement WILL get you where you want to be, but it takes a little time....allow yourself that time, and just enjoy the ride! I did, and I'm here to tell you guys it is one of most (if not the most) rewarding thing I have ever done for myself! The new confidence is unyielding! I want this euphoria for all you too! Please hang in there and keep at it! Touching that ribbon at the finish line is one of the best things you'll ever experience!
Have a wonderful weekend and be strong! You can do it!!!
Hello all!!! Glad to see the posts! Welcome to the group tomwatson92 and leslie157. I see that each of you has made a significant difference already! Keep up the good work! Basically, just post whenever your weigh-in day is (we all have different days) and we will always respond : )
brownsug- now you know I have to use wants2bhot's famous line right..."CAN I GET A WOOT WOOT!!"--LOL! Congrats girl! The changes that you've made are really working! Keep it up and you'll be in onderland before you know it.
wants2bhot- Even though we had our side convo yesterday, I just wanted to thank you for constantly encouraging me not to give up! I've felt like giving up several times, but each time you told me to keep pushing. I can't wait to experience what it feels like when you reach your goal. I know just what you mean about some insurance pounds--lol..I've given myself about 15 of them! Of course I'll always adjust as I lose more.--Keep checking in...we miss you!!
So for the past couple weeks I have been stuck between 193-195. You constantly have to switch up your daily intake and exercise as you lose. Although this is necessary to lose weight, I always struggle with it. I lowered my intake to 1650 max on workout days, and 1450 max on non-workout days. I also make sure to push it to the max while I am working out too. All of the hard work paid off this past week and I hit an all time low today...
Here are my weekly stats:
SW: 228
SW for this challenge: 223.4
CW: 192.2
Lost this challenge: 31.2 lbs.

I've decided to give myself til the end of the year to reach 175. i think that is reasonable and will give me a chance to learn to do things right and not rush and do them right now! hope everyone else is still on the wagon :-)
Today I surpassed my goal weight by 1 lb.!!!!! That's right....144 lbs. today!!! Wowzers!!!! I am sooooo happy! Yeah, when I saw that on the scale, I had to sit on my tub and just started ballin!!! Let me warn you guys of something right now! There is a lot of emotional that goes along with this physical journey! More than I ever thought possible! But in the end, you always come up smilin and that makes it all worth it! Every bit of it!!!!
My fiance just surprised me with a cruise for my birthday Wednesday, so I finished this just in time to end up coming back to re-lose after the cruise! That's ok though! Love him!
Now if I can only figure out this maintenance thing!!
I'll still be around checkin on you guys, so stay strong and please, please don't ever give up! Hey, the newest Biggest Loser is getting ready to begin! I soooo love that show! It's so motivating!!! Let's all watch it together!
Your girl~

Hi ladies! I know that I haven't reported on here in a while. To be quite honest, I've been soo frustrated with my weight loss, or lack thereof. Ever since July, I have been between 192-195. I know that once you lose at least 10% of your body weight your progress slows, and it becomes A LOT harder. Well, I have lost about 16% and I thought I was on a roll. It's been sooo much SLOWER and HARDER to lose that 1 lb. per week that I was easily losing a couple months ago. I've been experimenting with different methods, but nothing seems to work. As far as working out is concerned, I'm still going at it 5 days a week with cardio, strength, and calisthenics. I'm trying to keep my intake around 1650 (my BMR). I'm going to see how this week goes, and if nothing happens, I will maintain at this weight for a couple weeks, and hopefully that will jump start my weight loss. Hope everyone is doing well and is still battling this weight loss one day at a time.

Hey all! I hope everyone is doing well and still making great progress! I just wanted to update my stats since I finally hit 189 today!!!! I have been in the 190s since July and I've been waiting to see a 180 anything! Today it finally happened and I am so EXCITED! I guess my new workout regime and calorie intake worked and I hope that I can keep it up! Anyways, I hope to hear from you all soon! Have a great weekend!
