21yrs, 5ft 8, 221lbs want to lose weight 10lbs at a time. Looking for motivation buddys
Hey, I have joined CC as a true start for my weight loss(hopefully). I am in my final year at university and want get healthy and lose(some) weight before i have to start work.
Starting this topic to keep me on track as i have tried to lose weight many times before and failed. Lots of tips needed.

K- we will motivate all the way!!! Good for you! Honestly, I am jelous that you have already been so sucessful! Keep up the good work and we will all accomplish our goal eventually. I never was aware of loosing weight until after having kids- I appreciate and respect all those who continue and embark on this journey.
Ok ladies, I need some help:( I havnt logged in here in a while iv been so stressed and depressed, and in the end iv gained maybe 7lbs, And i just feel like I dont care, I need to get back on the wagon, Iv stopped working out, and dieting, I need some seriouse help and encouragement to get me motivated again, I feel like im slipping hard core and I feel like if I dont get back on now it may take me time to start over and by then ill be where i was 5 months ago ehh so frustrating, so here I am again Ready to weigh in once a week starting this tuesday! Wish me luck!
I haven't been on in a while either. I haven't gained any but I haven't lose any thing either. It's been really hard during these pass few weeks but we can get back on track and start to see the results we were getting previously.

I forgot to log in Yesterday, and I was away last week, but I am checking in weekly.
I am holding steady between 206.2 and 207.6- and this is not "dieting" or exercising. Things have been hectic lately- trying to go back to work, daycare for my twins for the year is going to be $21,000!!! Yeah, there are no "mistaken" Zero's in that number- thats a frigg'n salary for some!
So, My first goal is slowly approaching, - 199 by Sept 1, so I better get a move on. Thats a lot of lbs in one month.

I don't feel good today- Didn't feel good Yesterday afternoon either. Ate heart healthy banana and strawberry pancakes with my kids and am slowly sipping a cup of coffee, but I'm not sure how the eating is going to go today unless it is a package of saltine crackers and some gingerale! I think this Mamma Might be getting sick.

So I got on the scale yesterday and I'm not to happy with myself. I've gain weight since my first post, but at least I have lost a little of it.

You can do it! You already have!!! You are down 10 lbs!! Please don't give up! I lost 23 lbs. last year and gave up. Within 6 months I gained back 13 lbs. I started again this summer and decided to stick with it no matter what! I'm happy to report I am down a total of 31 lbs.! I won't say it was easy, it wasn't; but it's soooo worth it!
I know others who have done way better than I have, so there's proof on this site that it's doable. Something someone who has had huge success on this site (84 lbs lost) said has really struck me. "Never knew you could just pick a weight, and be it." Profound huh? She did it, and so can we!!!

So since my last check-in back in Aug. I've lost 12 lbs. I messed around a little in the 190's and it was so slow! My previous goal was to get into the 180's. I worked very hard and blew threw those with only minor set backs (Thanksgiving was one of em)!
My next goal is......of course, the 170's!!! I just added strength training to help me get through those, so we'll see how it goes!!!!![]()

So I was hoping to be 171 which would mark 40 lbs. lost, but that's ok as long as I keep movin' in the right direction! Of course my new short-term goal is the 160's!!! This is a really huge goal of mine as I feel pretty good anywhere in this range. So, first 169 and then on to 165! Can't wait!

Hi all! I've been looking for a group that fits me! I've been at this for a little over a month and initially did my weigh-ins on Sundays, until I realized that what I eat on the weekends is a little irregular from what I eat during the week. With that being said, I moved my weigh-ins to Wednesday to give better results (hopefully). Now its that time of the month (TTOM) so unfortunately, I am retaining a ton of water, and saw an increase on the scale
. I'm really hoping and praying that I will lose it once its gone. I am 5 "7 and 22 years old and here are my stats:
SW: 228 lbs.
SW for this challenge: 223 lbs.
First goal weight (June 2009): 203 lbs.
Ultimate goal weight (September 2009): 175 lbs.
