What are some zero calorie snacks?
Asked by on Jun 23, 2009
If I've run out of calories but I am still hungry, what snacks do you suggest to take off the edge?
My short list of zero-calorie foods includes water, seltzer water, zero-calorie flavored beverages such as diet soda and sugar-free Kool-Aid, tea, and coffee; however, many more very low calorie foods exist, including sugar-free jello, broth, air-popped popcorn, and lots of vegetables such as celery, cucumbers, radishes, lettuce, spinach, other greens, cabbage, and broccoli. See this list of low calorie snacks from the Guide to Weight Loss at About.com.
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
