Zigzag dieting question

Quote  |  Reply

I've started up dieting again and, like last time, I'm gonna zigzag my calories. yesterday I had 1300 and today I had about 2300! I'm worried, is this too big of a jump for zigzagging? Is this bad for me in any way?

Tomorrow I plan to consume 1500 and Friday probably 2000.

Maybe it's me, but that sounds like a crazy approach not too mention the amount of planning required to manage these hops.  On the other hand, I have had some success with fasting one or two days a week.  So I guess that I have used a zig zag approach of sorts.

At any rate, this is not your first time with this diet.  How did it work the last time you used it?  How long were you on the diet? Why did you stop?  Did you maintain your weight loss?  Do you include exercise in your daily routines?

Yeah your zig zagging is a little too dramatic (my opinion)...here is what I have done plus I put a link to a site on it in an earlier post...

Earlier post:

zig-zagging is alternating your calorie intake over a 3 day span then start the process over heres an example...if your daily calorie intake should be 2000 (to loose 1 lb a week) then do this

day 1, 1900 calories

day 2, 2000 calories

day 3, 2100 calories

the overall 2000 calories is still maintained yet your body believes hey I am ok...do this over and over till you break the cycle....

here is a link that discusses the process...I personally have tried it when I wanted to cut the plateau...it does work.
