Fit Zone for Women???

Quote  |  Reply
Has anyone ever been to one of these gyms? I am a college student and would like to belong to a gym but don't have the $$ for some place like Total Fitness or Bally's. I also would like something more difficult than the 30 min circuit on hydrolic machines (aka Curves type place). I looked up fit zone online and it appears to have real weight machines, treads, eliptical etc. and group classes (yoga, cardio, pilates etc.). Any thoughts?

Thanks! -Alyson

im in college to and they have a fitness center there. It is free to workout for students. Maybe your college has the same thing. It would save you time and money.
well I moved home for my last semester of school and student teaching (starts Jan 7th). So I'm a 1/2 hour drive from campus (not exactly convienient). Thanks for the advice though, I did use the fitness center on campus off and on when living there.
Have you tried the YMCA? I joined mine just while I'm home for the holidays. It was a lot more reasonable than some other gyms (one wanted $80 for a three week membership!) and it does the job. Not the best equipment but good enough for what I need, and I like to support a good non-profit anyway.
